Melee Weapon

Kusari-Gama(Sickle and Chain. Kusari=chain and Gama/Kama=sickle)

One of Japanease weapon. Long chain with weight joined to the grip edge of sickle. Basical how to use is to entangle opponet's weapon and tug opponet near to cut his neck with sickle. technology of 21th century changed this chain to fine, strong and flexible line and made it easy to handle. How to use Kusari-Gama are below three.

Entangle (Reach=2)
　 To entangle opponent's body or weapon in line with weight. Attacker get +2 moddified to TN of attack test. Entangled person receieves +4 modification to each physical test with entangled parts (weapon or limb). And also receieves +2 modification to all other physical or magical tests.If an opponent is entangled his physical parts, aplly (Str+3)MStun damage because weight of Kusari-Gama hits.
Entangled one can try to untagle with a complex action. Untangling one must make Quickness test with TN = Min(opponet's Strength,4) . If he gets more successes than the successes of entangle, he is free. This success number of untangle may heap up. ( For example, a person failed to untangle at first try, but he can succeed after several try with sum of all his tries.)
When this attack is failed beacause attacker makes no success or target's combat pool dice success exceeded, judge that attacker entangles himself or not with same way of monofilament whip. If attacker entangles himself, always attacker entangles his body.
Defender cannot use this attack.
Weight attack (Reach=2)
To hit target's fatal point (mainly target's head) with weight. This attack is always called shot and its basic damege is (Str+4)M. Defender cannot use this attack.
Sickle attack (Reach=0)
Damage is (Str+2)L. Some Kusari-Gama use stun baton in place of sickle. Price of this type Kusari-Gama is 1,200 + price of changed stun baton.

Jutte (Japanease Swordbreaker)

Baton with fook. Also one of Japanease weapon. If counterattack with Jutte succeed, Jutte can catch bladed weapon. Generally Jutte is not used with dominant hand. Dominant hand hold another weapon and attack with it when another hand catch enemy's weapon.
(Jutte was used by Dosin officers(police officers) in 17-19th century.)

Nissan 2048J ---by Tristan Sapp

The Nissan 2048J is the JIS' equivilant of the UCAS' MPUV. It is, in truth, a local manufacture of the Land Rover 2048 Lightweight. The 2048 was built to fill the need for an airdrop vehicle that was rugged and light issued by the British Army.
Since the 2048 was small, lightweight and relatively fast, Nissan bought the rights to make their own copies of it, the 2048J ("J" "JIS") for and sell it to whoever they wished, provided they gave Land Rover a cut of the pay. The first on the list was the military, and the JGSDF quickly purchased 1,500 for their forces. The Tokyo Police SWAT had been using the real British 2048's since 2051 with great success, so they purchased some 2048J's to work alongside the 2048's and not long after the normal police bought some standard police use, where their excellent handling and good top speed made it a rival to most of the vehicles on the streets of Tokyo.
The 2048J's chassis and body are identical to the 2048's since they are exact copies, so any part from a British 2048's chassis or frame can be interchanged. On the other hand, the 2048J uses a bigger Nissan V8 and on-road suspension and tires that allows it to go faster than the 2048, so they had to rearrange the drivetrain to accomodate the bigger engine. Any part relating to the drivetrain (except a spark plug) cannot be interchanged.
The JGSDF uses the 2048J as its standard jeep. They have a better armor level than the Police and civilian models and use the off road suspension found on the British model but are otherwise the same. They are used extensively in Kawara, heavily armored and mounting a light machine gun, to keep the awakened under wraps. The 2048J is unavailible to the public, but Nissan makes a nicer civilian model for the masses. Called the Nissan 2056 (as it was released the year 2056), it is the off road equal of the Nissan Maxima.

Features: Crash Cage adds 6 dice for any applicable crash test (like your basic, textbook fenderbender or collision) for each occupant and APPS lets driver and front passenger halves crash damage, but to get out after a crash requires a strength (5) test. The Roll Bar, which can be removed, adds three dice to any crash involving the roof (like flipping over). Also comes with a passenger-side gun mount that can accomodate a rifle, shotgun or LMG, a spotlight on the driver's side, concealed armor and improved suspension (1).

*Off-Road Handling is 3/4 (for the military model, switch the on- and off road handling values, but all else is the same.)

A bigger sedan, the Cedric is a common car in Japan. Bigger and more powerful than the vast majority of most Japanese vehicles, it costs less than even the Americar (which is not sold in Japan). Fuel comsumption is a problem, though. It is not sold in the Americas or Europe.
The Cedric is also popular as police cruisers and taxis; sort of like the 1990's Ford Crown Victoria in the UCAS.

The Honda Today, which is slightly larger than the Daihatsu Charade, offers fair performance for its size. It is popular with Churyu. A special rear bench seat, designed especially to fit two children, has won it over with many Japanese parents.
Honda also offers a "sports" model. Called the Beat, it is a 2-seat convertible. The Today is not availible outside the JIS and Korea, and the Beat is not available outside the JIS.
