Begining of study Magin in JIS was at 2006 when Tokyo Univercity changed its name to Tokyo
Imperial Univercity. First time,that was an aproach of cultral anthropology to Onmyou-Dou what
is a magic developped on Ying-Yang theory in Japan,and Kajikitou one of Rituals. About 1,000
years ago they were used fo magical defence of Japan.And first of the study was to apear the Ritual
and Spells again.
On the study,strange happening came when some of student did them.They thought those were
trick of Student.But those happnings continued.
In 2014,the study were near finishment by joining of old Onmyou-Mage family and Temple of Mikkyo
that hold old Budhism Magic Rituals.And some rules of Onmyou-Magic and Japanease Budhism Magic.
This year,an assistant and students make a experiment of Onmyou magic to make fire.It' said that the
panic made by Howling Coyote was reported on TV in the room.
No one knew what happend in the room. But it's clearly truth that the room was flame up and almost
all of them with the experioment were burned to death.
No one believed that was because magical power was raised.But no one denied it because they knew
strange happenings continued.Then they start their investigation to what happend and how it worked.
They gatheres students with strange effect in past experiments and magicak children they thought they
were.
In this way approach was changed to magical theory study from cultral anthropology.
Strange to say that they recieved support from Imperial Money.And they start their study with rarely
good condition among common Japanease studies.
Be studied well and developped well by comparing with other magics,few difference lay between Onmyou
mage and common hermetic mage.Ancient Onmyou mage were learning with serving for Masters and training hard.But now Univercities teach Onmyou magic smartly,then none learn Onmyou magic like ancient.
Onmyou mage's favorites are conjuring spitrits and searching for the name of free spirits.Famous ancient Onmyou mage "Seimei Abe" had true names of 6 free spirits and 6 ally spirits.
Those spirit under controll of Onmyou-Mage are called "Shikigami" either Elementals or others.
(Ancient Onmyou-Mage used handy spirit like watchers.They can summon shortly as watchers.But the spirit
can do only one command.And their abilities are almost same as watchers.To summon the spirits,
Onmyou-Mage use a expendable fetish made of paper.The spirits were called "Shikligami" too.And its
summoning was called "Shiki-wo-utu" means projectile the Shikigami.)

Onmyou's "Shiki-wo-utu" know-how brought them a expendable fetish for summoning watcher.That
fetishes are paper foldings or paper shape cut out.Using it +2 dice to conjuring dice or drain resistance dice
for watcher summoning.It cost 30n\.
Only Onmyou-Mage can use it but Onmyou-Mage can't summon watcher normaly.
Budhism was a magic tradition before Onmyou-Dou in Japan.Old Imperial Court made it to magical national
defence power.That was enough strong to be studied by JIS scholors.
So Japanease magical theory were learned much from it.And new Budhism mages learned from other
magic too.Then there are no difference from other hermetic traditions but they are noisy.because of Japanease
Budhism tradition they hit wood and metal gongs and chant Budhism mantras.
Budhism mage's favorite is vanishing spirits.Because ancient Budhism mages worked for vanishing evil spirits.
(But some Budhism mages cast ritual magic to harm one.)
They are also phylosopher and interested how the world made.On this point they look like Snake Sharman.

In 2010,much peaples in JIS dreamed strange.
One dreamed of a strong man in ancient Japanease cloth,one dreamed of great shark swiming slowly
in the sleepy afternoon underwater of ocean,one dreamed of beutiful and sexy dancer weared only one
strip of cloth and one dreamed of snow white fox.Age nor sex,no common in them,but only one is
they were called.Most of them were surprized and refused.A few of them receieved and tried to become
shrine keeper.And some of them predicted big earthquake would shake Tokyo in 2011.
At the end of 2011,the epicentral earthquake striked Tokyo,but most of earthquake profit went somewhere
or arrested and none knows what happend on them after them.
In 2015,Court ministry made Temple and Shrine section with good staff.And began to controll those who
sharmanic.
In JIS sharmanic tradition holds such sub-traditions.
