Kei is a orphan at 14 age. She was brought up as a street child and her young master (Yes very young. About 20 years old . ) found her talent of martial arts. (But both of them don't know her physical adept talent.)
One day , her master was killed by a Troll martial artist on the run.
She run after the Troll to revenge. But that Troll himself began a struggle against Fuchi.
At last, she found her true talent in the fight with the Troll. (He found its frashing by hate, and his nature of martial artist made him to grow it up. )
And she found her peace in the friendship of a cat sharman girl.
Two masters (both of them dead but loved her each way.) and one true friend she got.
Happy end, isn't it?
Heartwarming story.
Story of magical awakening. Commonplace story type in Japan.
Reaerch of martial arts is good.(First master's martial art is "Kin'na" a chinease submission school.)
Only 14 years old and small girl won the burned out Troll physical adept. It's fantstic.
Kind cop, kind reporter, kind street people love her. Happy girl.
Novel itself is not so bad if it's without the name of Shadowrun. It's never cyberpunk.
One notable point. Top scene of this novel, "gangs" make 1 on 1 bout for a territory area. In the description, they always make such game to fight the terrirtoy area... I don't know such tradition in a glance over Japanease history but in Manga. There are 1 on 1 duel made for championship of hooligan highschool boys (they are all not independent and without care of life.) . In this another Japan, territory is not the base of gang's life? If so, they never agree to settle its area by only a 1 on 1 bout.
