The fact that more people than at any time in history accessed the Internet to download raw data directly from project engineers and scientists benchmarks the individual's ability to choose when and from where they will receive their information. As sophistication and accessibility of computer technology shapes popular culture, a similar shift is occurring in the arts. Artists challenge the more perplexing questions of meaning. This work not only appeals to our emerging technological state, but also directly addresses the current issues and concerns of our time. The CoMA festival is an attempt to identify the people and places from which this new artform is unfolding.
