  Civil Activists' Peace Ring 2 is planned as the successor and alternative of the former "Peace Web Ring 平和を求める人々のウェブリング" formed against the Iraq War and expanded rapidly into 120 sites, for volunteers, grassroots civil movements, peace and anti-war movements, and/or peace researches, but which now no longer functions by ending of  http://www.webring.ne.jp/  service on April 30, 2007. Web Rings are online networks using navigation bars shown at the bottom with which visitors can follow a group of sites.

  I was isolated in action, and sought online debate during the days. But I joined my junior friends' peace network and found the former web ring in May, 2007. Since the former Administrator is not known, I myself decided to create an alternative and successor of the web ring.

  The White Ribbon created by a famous musician and environmentalist Ryuichi Sakamoto, living in New York now, is also adopted here as the symbol of peace and anti-war movement that people initiated to speak out for peace. Refer to Wikipedia "White Ribbon" and so on. Further, the Sitesakamoto replied the agreement in adopting their White Ribbon image.

  I am not a computer expert nor web designer but a physical therapist, so you had better refer to http://webring-next.com/ in detail. I experienced registering one of my another sites using webring-next and found it is not difficult for us except the proper navigation bar source code. You can edit site later, too.
