Thank you for visitting my website.
As you know Nippon Kogaku, K.K., Japan Optical Co., Nikon was formed on 1917.
Nikon is one of the optic equipment maker that represents Japan and also the world.
During my many years of researching about extreme high resolution Nikkor lenses, I could not find any information about those lenses on the Internet or books.
This is the reason why I establish this web site to all over the world.
This web site is dedicated to introduce varieties of extreme high resolution Nikkor lenses such as Ultra-Micro-Nikkor, REPRO Nikkor, CRT Nikkor, MACRO Nikkor, APO Nikkor, EL Nikkor, APO EL Nikkor, FR Nikkor, XERO Nikkor, COM Nikkor, and other industrial use super Nikkor lenses.

Site History

The site of this Japanese version has been opened to the public since October 21, 2001.
The beginning was so simple. Couple of my friends asked me about Ultra-Micro-Nikkor lenses, so I answered "OK. Let me show you some pictures on my web site."
While all of this was going on, I had a great mind to add some comments to those pictures.
This is the true reason to establish of this web site.
An English version has been opened to the public since January, 2002.

The Readers whom I Want to Show

This site is intended for all camera or photography related people who like to take pictures, or like to browse Nikkor lenses.
Because of this site has narrow topic, you won't understand the first time what I want to say. Please come to terms with my document.
If you are thirty years old or later, you probably easy to understand my document, because those special Nikkor lenses are little old.
The young people are welcome also. I expect the junior high-school students will love my contents.

Michio Akiyama
Akiyama is Japanese who lives in Japan.
He is a collector of Ultra-Micro-Nikkor lenses and other High Resolution Super Nikkors.
Akiyama did text writing and photograph shooting.
He is a computer engineer and be not the employee of Nikon.
A member of the Tokyo Camera Club and the ALPA Society Tokyo.

Kazumasa Oguri
Oguri is Japanese who lives in Yokosuka in Japan.
He is a scientist in Japan and researching geoscience.
To know the earth, he is examining the mud which piled up in the bottom in the deep sea.
He was looking for an efficient macro lens to take a picture of mud in bottom of the deep sea.
He examined the macro lens of each company, and obtained the result in which the lens is good for the his research. He found finally ultimate macro lens of Ultra Micro Nikkor.
He offered me the photograph by a lot of special Nikkor lenses.
A member of the ALPA Society Tokyo. He also likes vacuum tubes.

Shigeo Kawada
Kawada is Japanese who lives in Nippon Kogaku.
He was working in Ohi Plant where is the holy place of Nippon Kogaku. He was a professional consultant for Nikon and Nippon Kogaku users.
He was answering to the asking question of the Nikon user accurately on a Japanese Nikon site.
Also he is the most famous peroson for Nippon Kogaku enthusiast in Japan.
He experiences the production of the grand Ultra Micro Nikkor!!
