Mr.Hiura took part in Advanced Course that Ms.Mary Lynch held after AGM.
Mr.Yamamoto and Mr.Doi had the international approval of IBITA as basic course instructor.

14:00-16:30 Special discourse titled 'MOTOR CONTROL AND POSTURAL CONTROL'
Dr.Kaoru Takakusaki gave a lecture titled 'motor control and postural control'. He started to talk embryological interpretations of brain ,
development of motor functions and basic framework for motor control. And he explained that motor system and descend tract.
Especially,it was impressive that muscle tone and the lectures based the experiment with technologist.
In the lecture,he took concrete instances and explained pleasantly,so it seemed that we forgot about time passing away.
There were many question and answer between Dr. and participants.

The proxy and the number of participants of regular general meeting were satisfied,so the regular meeting was approved.
and we talked revision of rules and regulations,fundation of Support Fund for Developing Countries, and how the amount of money carried forward

Dr.Takakusaki and the participants attended the party,so that held on a large scale.
The therapists of Juntendo Hospital,Tokyo and Hokuto Hospital,Hokkaido made an enjoyable entertainment and we had a nice time.

JBITA meeting 2005 opened at Bobath Memorial Hospital ,we had a business meeting in the morning, and had educational session about Advanced course in 2004,2005 in the afternoon.
The rule of JBITA is partly changed,we decided that change of course title and made a system for new position..
Mr.Kii lectured in Japan PT association May 26,2005
Mr.Kii lectured on transition of treatment on Bobath concept in Japan PT association in Osaka,and many members attended the meeting.
He talked about history of Bobath concept,feats of Mr.and Mrs.Bobath and introduced images of Mrs.Bobath and Braice's treatment.
Many members attended the meeting.
Patricia Ann Shelly visited Japan again. Tutors Module and Human Movement Course opened April 18-23,2005
Senior Instructor,Patricia Ann Shelly visited Japan again,and she opened Tutors Module and HMC with a translator,Akiko Ueyama at Yamanashi Spa Hospital.
The thema of Tutors Module is autonomic system, it was really interesting, especially demonstration of patients.
Neuron Science Seminor opened April 10,2005
Neuron Science Seminor was held at Kitazato University, the speaker were Prof.Kawashima,Prof.Taira and Prof.Kubota.
Prof.Kawashima talked prefrontal cortex is activated by mental calculation and reading aloud.
Prof.Taira talked relation between basic research about vision and function of parietal lobe and clinical scene.
Prof.Kubota lectured the latest research about plasticity of brain.
IBITA AGM 2004 in Tokyo opened Sep,2004
IBITA AGM 2004 was held in September,many instructors visited Japan from all over the world.
Human Movement course and Advanced course by Patricia Ann Shelly and Cristel Auwer were held,and Tutors module by Mary Lynch was held.
The content was inserted in the next issue of Bobath Jornal.
Tomoyuki Ohashi assumed the chairman of Japan Bobath Instructor Training Association July,2004
National Institute of JBITA was held on July, Mr Kii resigned his position and he was inducted honorary secretary and Tomoyuki Ohashi took up a chairman of JBITA in a meeting.

Ichiyama publisher that is concerned with "Neuron science in Human Movement" "NOUHYAKUWA(hundred stories about Brain)"issued a new book related rehabilitation.
That book's title is "Motor Neuron Physiology"and it ,says that what research is done about human movement, it is a bit complicated for an introduction.

Katsuhiro Ito,Basic course instructor appeared on TV March 8,2004
He appeared on TV program that is titled SKY perfect TV,on channel 744, and he delivered a lecture about "Applied Walking". This program is for rehabilitation staff.The first broadcast was on March 10.

Neuroscience Seminar was opened July 26,2003
A seminar in Neuroscience was held at the international conference room in Kyoto July 26,2003, and then we engaged Dr.Nudo in Kansas University, as a lecturer.
He gave a lecture on C・I therapy (it is kind of therapy that makes a patient forcibly use paralyzed side limb) and research results that rehabilitation changed the map of squirrel monkey cortex. That has less sulcus so it is suitable for research.
He emphasized some points, first, it needs much and repeated rehabilitation to change the map of cortex, secondly it is important that correct sensory inputs are given.
Preparatory conference for IBITA AGM in Tokyo 2004 was opened. June 14,2003
After JBITA conference(as the following passage) finished, preparatory conference for IBITA AGM 2004 in Tokyo was held by JBITA members of Kanto Area、Japan.
In the educational session, we considered brain science and open of workshops.
IBITA AGM is the meeting that is held once a year, all over the world instructors come together and discuss management organization, training of instructors, and contents of course.
