Red seed looked as if they were red flowers.

"When I was walking along the approach to Shimogamo shrine in May, I found there were tiny rouge flowers on each of green leaves of the trees. The color contrast was beautiful and impressive to me. I wanted to represent the scene as a tanka (poem), but then I did'nt know it was a maple or not, and furthermore I did'nt know they were real flowers or seed of the tree.
