LOW TEMPERATURE MEDICINE |
Dear Members of JSLTM and the related scientists:
I am delighted that all members of the Japan Society for Low Temperature Medicine
(JSLTM) enjoy good health more and more. Members of our Society investigate the
treatment of diseases by several approaches: Cryopreservation, Cryosurgery and
Cryoimmunology as exemplified on the logo of the cover of our Journal, LOW
TEMPERATURE MEDICINE (LTM).
The Editorial Office of LTM has initiated internationalization of our Journal by
publishing in English every issue of Volume 31 from manuscripts submitted by
members and related scientists. The total number of papers submitted was 17: 9
original and 8 reviews. The shortest review period was 10 days and the longest 50
days. Fortunately, significance, originality and validity were seen in each submitted
manuscript although the number submitted is still not sufficient. Above all, I do
believe that publication in the Journal three months after receiving the original
manuscript at the Editorial Office was accomplished by the prompt and tireless
cooperation of authors who adhered to strict suggestions by the referees. Of course, we sincerely thank the English speaking referees for their kind and polite reviewing of
those manuscripts submitted by authors whose native language is other than English.
I am pleased to report that our current studies in cryomedicine that are published in
LTM have now been introduced to a broader international scientific and medical
audience of 63 countries in the world through the Bulletin of the International Institute
of Refrigeration.
The Editorial Board of LTM is sincerely awaiting more submissions of manuscripts
from you and your institution for the next issue. The dead-line for submission to
Volume 32, Number 2 which will come out in September, is Saturday August 5, 2006.
It is important that scientific papers make their debut on the stage of scientific
discussion, namely LOW TEMPERATURE MEDICINE! I shall continue to personally
devote my efforts to make our Society an even more outstanding scientific and
medical organization as I previously pledged in my inaugural address.

「低温医学」役員および投稿規定
本学会誌は,低温医学研究に関する論文,関連情報,会報などを掲載する。投稿資格は本学会会員で
あることが望ましい。会員以外からの論文も掲載する。原著論文について,他誌に既発表あるいは投稿
の論文は掲載しない。

原稿の掲載：原稿の採否および掲載時期は編集委員会が決定する。掲載された論文および記事の著作
権は本学会に帰属する。
原稿の規定:
１．原稿は必ずコンピューター（Windows XP以上）を用いて英文にて作成し，原本
（CD）とその印字コピー３部を提出する。
２．印字原稿はA4版として，必ず通し番号を付ける。校正は著者校正一回として，他は
編集委員会で行う。著者校正時の加筆や文章の変更による費用は著者負担となる。
３．本文は英文で正確簡明に書くこと。英語母国者以外からの原稿は投稿前に英語母
国語の適切な校閲者による英文訂正済みであること。
４．図表は引用順にそれぞれ番号を付け，原稿上に挿入箇所を明記する。
５．扉原稿に表題，全著者名，筆頭著者の所属および住所、e-mailアドレスを記入する。
６．総説，原著については抄録とKeywords（５個以内）を添付する。
７．原著論文と報告文は，目的，方法，成績，考案，結輪，謝辞，文献，の順にまとめる。
８．引用文献は本文に引用された順に番号をつけて配列する。著者名は筆頭者から３
名までとし，３名以上のときは「他」と記載する。文献の詳細な記戴法は英文投稿規定に
従う。
９．本文中の略語は初出の際に省略しない。
１０．掲載料。
論文の長さは図表，写真，文献を含み，原著総説は刷り上がり１頁につき，８，０００円と
する。カラー印刷と別刷は別途に有料とする。
