投稿者：きりんちゃん あのう、以前から気になっていた事があるのですがここで質問 してもよろしいでしょうか？ 例えばですね、サイズの事なんですが、靴や服の大きさを 言う時は「small」ですよね。 建物はどう言いますか？ 大きな建物はlarge or big, 小さな建物は small or little?? 大きさを英語で言う場合、どっちか、一瞬 迷います。 例えば「隣に小さな家があるよ。」と言う時は next to small house or next to little house でしょうか？ ----------------------------------------------------------------- smallとlittleの違いについて 投稿者：Yasu 初めまして、Yasuと申します。やさビジMLから来ました。 さて、この違いですが、Practical English Usage(OUP)から原文のまま引用します。 Small simply refers to size.
