Mari graduated from Keio University in 1990, where she majored in Business Administration.
She worked for the Market Research Division at Toyota Motor Company.
In 1991, she moved to Atlanta Georgia in U.S.A. where she met Mrs. Roz Zollinger, who has an international reputation for her therapeutic Reflexology and Aromatherapy and who founded the Heal Center.
Mari qualified in Reflexology and Aromatherapy through Healing Arts and Learning Center (Heal Center) in 1997, has been offering Reflexology sessions and many classes based on The Zollinger "Bodysystems Method of Reflexology" and The Zollinger "Bodysystems Method of Aromatherapy" after she returned back to Japan in 1998.
Mari was initiated into the healing art of Usui Reiki Ryoho, an ancient hands-on healing technique, through Mrs. Adrian Nikki Cobb at Center for Health Resources in 1997.
In 1998 she met Mr. Hiroshi Doi, who developed Gendai (Modern) Reiki Ryoho, which is based on original hands-on healing technique discovered by Dr. Mikao Usui.
She is using Usui Reiki Ryoho & Gendai Reiki Ryoho in Reflexology session.
