日だまりに鴨寄り添いて水の音

Hidamarri ni kamo yorisoite mizu no oto

Sounds of water,

A couple of geese swim

together in the sun

梅林のカメラの列につぼみふく

bairin no kamera no retsu ni tsubomi fuku

Buds of ume trees

are surrounded by

a lot of photographers

すいすいと双子の鴨が並んでる

sui sui to futago no kamo ga narannderu

Twins of geese

swim side by side

in early spring water

松のよこ首のながーいきりんどり

Matsu no yoko kubi no nagai kirin dori

Beside a pine tree

A very long neck bird.

I call it Giraffe Bird

うめの花大きな顔でいちばん咲き

ume no hana okina kao de ichiban zaki

An ume blossom

tells a first arrival of spring

showing its proud face

The field in the snow

in Ihatov Country
