「イシワタ共和国」では、重要なコミュニケーション（商談や会合、冠婚葬祭、プロポーズ、誕生日おめでとう、ありがとう、ごめんね・・・など）の際に「言葉」をしゃべるかわりに絵やコラージュやオブジェなどを作り、そこに魂を込めて交換していました。この国の経済を支えていたのは、不用品の物々交換の風習でした。
かたちばかりのものに支配されないように、コミュニケーションにもっと魂がこもるように。「イシワタ共和国」からの難民キャンプとして、 イシワタマリの絵が「三田の家」を飾ります。
※ 会期中、展示されている作品は、貨幣または「それに代わるなにか」と交換にご購入が可能です。（要交渉）

In "The Republic of Ishiwata," the general way to communicate on important occasions was to exchange drawings, paintings, or collage, charging one's spirit into the item to be traded. Such as during serious meetings, in school for education, proposals, and for birthday greetings or ceremonial occasions, people used this method of communication instead of using "words."
And the culture of "exchanging unneeded articles" did a great support for the economic system in this country.
Wishing not to be ruled only by "form," to communicate with more spirit, the paintings by Mari Ishiwata will decorate "Mita House" to make a refugee camp there for 1 week.
※ Artworks on display are for sale, meaning they will be exchanged for either "money" or "something else of equal value." (subject to negotiation)
