BCS Öko-Garantie was established by Mr. Peter Grosch in 1990. Today, more than 150 staffs stationed in Germany and overseas are doing certification works of organic products in more than 60 countries.

Registered Foreign Certification Organization (RFCO)
BCS Öko-Garantie was firstly registered in July 2002 as Registered Foreign Certification Organization (RFCO) of organic products and re-registered in April 2006 under New JAS Law by the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. It is possible for overseas suppliers to affixed the JAS mark shown below to products and export them to Japan if BCS Öko-Garantie certified the products according to JAS Law and the Japanese organic standard.
