(Japanese/English)
The larva(catapilar) of Silkworm moth(Bombyx mori) is called "kaiko"
in Japanese.
Silkworms have been fed by man from ancient times to get silk.
Bombyx larva can't feed without man's help, and Bombyx moth can't
fly. Bombyx mori is a well tame insect and is used for scientific
experiments. It feeds on mulberry leaves and artificial diet is
also used for comarcial feeding.
