It's difficult to remember five names of flowers at once.
Yellow flower is Yellow Cupit, pink one Erika, blue oneNemesia,
 white one Bakopa and the center shirotaekiku 
in Japanese. Last Friday Mama and Littlemama planted them
at the Hana no Bunkaen in Kawachinagano.



一時に４つの花の名前を覚えるのは難しい。黄色の花はイエローキューピットで、ピンクのはエリカ、青はネメシア、白はバコパ、真ん中のは日本名で白妙菊。先週の金曜日に河内長野の花の文化園で植えたんだよ。

Can you see a butterfly in this picture?　It's very

The family except me went to Hananobunkaen in Kawachinagano.
She was relaxed on the glasses. They enjoyed themselves there.


僕以外の家族で、河内長野の花の文化園に行った。チイママが
草の上でリラックス。皆楽しんできたよ。

I can hear JJ's word, "I'm the strongest and king of kings."

言うのが聞こえる。来週、もっと安全な地域へ引越し予定。

Another big cyclone went to Philippines and cut the telephone 
line again last Sunday. So JJ's picture came today. Anyway, 
I'm happy to see him.

先週の日曜日に、別の大きな台風がフィリピン来襲、電話線をまた
切ったよ。で、今日、ジェイジェイ君の写真が届いた。ま、とにかく
ジェイジェイ君が見られて嬉しい。

I imagine this title may be Fall. This picture was drawn 
by Ms. Fujiwara. Mama said, "If I were a bird, I want to 
fly to eat them."

この題名は秋だろうと想像。この絵は藤原さんの作。ママは
言いました。「もしも鳥だったら、食べに飛んで行くのに。」って。

A TV program, tamesite gatten, showed this recipe.
Papa liked it very much.


試してガッテンというテレビ番組でこの作り方をやってました。
パパがとても気に入りました。 

He likes being in the box. He was playing and eating there
on his birthday. I wanted to be together, too.


ジェイジェイは箱の中に居るのが好き。　誕生日にそこで
遊んだり、食べたり。ぼくも一緒に居たかったなあ。

This bread was baked by Mama and Littlemama last Sunday.
I was given just one bite and it was very good. 


このパンは日曜日にママとチイママが焼いたの。僕にも一口
くれたけれど、美味しかった。

The 25th is the 87th birthday of Papa's mother. So the three, 
Papa, Mama, Littlemama and obaachan. went to a restaurant
yesterday. They look delicious. I wanted to eat together.

25日はおばあちゃんの87歳の誕生日。　だから、三人は昨日、
レストランへ行きました。美味しそう。僕だって一緒に食べたかった。 

Last Saturday was the birthday party of JJ, Mama's grandson
 in Philippines. This is the birthday present given by her son.
How big?


先週の土曜日はフィリピンに居る孫の誕生パーティーでした。
これはママの息子からのプレゼント。大きい！

It's a little cool today. I like purple and yellow in this picture.
These colors make me feel autumn. And then, like Snoopy,
I think of the famous line: To be or not to be, that is a question.


今日は少し涼しい感じ。この写真の紫と黄色が好き。
この色は秋を感じさせてくれる。秋には、スヌーピーみたいに、
有名なセリフのことを考えるなあ。「生きるべきが、死すべきか、それが問題だ。」って。

This tree has strange flowers with two parts of white and pink.
We use this flower when praising a beautiful lady. This is Confederate rose, fuyou in Japanese.


この木には白とピンクの部分がある奇妙な花が咲いています。
美しい女性を褒めるときにこの花は使われます。これは芙蓉です。

Littlemama's is just going to Tokyo on her business trip by train. She is eating lunch: rice with chestnuts and nice cooked vegetables and others. The meeting's going to be held tomorrow so she's free today. Enjoy your stay in Tokyo a little.　I wish I were with you.


チイママは出張で電車で東京へ向かっているところ。昼ご飯は、栗ご飯と美味しいそうな煮物を食べてます。　会議は明日なので、今日は時間がある。少し東京を楽しむといいよ。僕も一緒ならいいのになあ。

Autumn has come. It's for a good sleep to me. And for a 
good reading or eating to others.


秋だね！僕にとっては睡眠の秋。他の人達にとっては、
読書の秋だったり、食欲の秋だったり。 

I can eat only pork. Other dishes are for Mama and Papa.


僕は豚肉だけ食べられる。他の料理はママとパパ用です。

This was Little mama's supper. She likes natto made of
beans very much.


これはチイママの晩御飯でした。豆から出来た納豆が大好き。

Mama likes this color very much.

Today is Mama's knit sewing day. She made it in about six hours this afternoon. 



今日はママのニットソーイングの日。午後の3時間くらいで作りました。

I don't know how to call them in English. They look delicious.
Mama went to Tennouji yesterday and bought them for Papa,
not for me.

英語でどういえばいいのかしらないけれど、美味しそう。

This is made by Coala-san, Mama's old friend.
She is a master of sewing and dyeing. I like these
colors.


これはママの古い友人のコアラさんの作品。縫い物と
染物の先生だよ。

This is the first try for Mama to cook French food with
chicken and vegetables like onion, colored pepper, tomato,
 etc. I don't know how to write the name in French.



これは鶏と玉ねぎとかカラーピーマンとかトマト等々の野菜入りフランス料理にママが初めて挑戦したんだよ。料理の名前をフランス語ではどう書いたらいいのか知らないの。

This looks delicous. Littlemama ate it yesterday alone.
She's worked very hard this week so she bought it for 
herself as a reward.


美味しそう。チイママが一人で食べた。今週はよく働いたから、自分へのご褒美なんだって。

We didn't go mushroom gathering today, but we found them nearby. Mushroom or toadstool? Can we eat them or not?
Maybe not!


ぼく達は今日、キノコ狩りに行ったわけじゃないんだけれど、近くで見つけちゃったよ。食用か毒キノコか？食べられるのかな？多分ダメだよ！
