"MAT-B Michinoku" is the the pet name of MAT-B Tohoku Branch. The "Tohoku district" is called "Michinoku". Since the touch pronounced with "Michinoku" is good, we are calling myself "MAT-B Michinoku". (^_^U
"Michinoku" is long and slender (LAT.N41.48'-N36.48', LON.E142.04' -139.32'),
the east faces the Pacific Ocean and west faces the Sea of Japan, and in north faces the Tsugaru strait.
Area is 16.9% of 2 63,983km 2 and the total area of Japan of 377,855km.
It is "large and a few population"="country and a pastoral."
But for motorcycle riding, it is very good environment.
Although a city part also has traffic jam of course, if You went to the country, You have no traffic jam in the daytime of a holiday.
The housing situation is blessed compared with the metropolitan area.
There are also many people of "putting the motorbike into the garage" and "putting the motorbike into a barn."
Because the motorbike is put into the barn together with farm machines, it is the country feature.
Since it is a large area, the difference of the season in the same area cannot be disregarded, either.
The same Fukushima within the prefecture also has the Fukushima southern part Pacific Ocean side where it hardly snows, and there is also an Aizu district where much snow falls.
The time of cherry blossom viewing of a cherry tree also has a cherry tree festival in Fukushima
and Miyagi in mid-April, and a golden week. The seasonal time lag of Iwate or Aomori is also large.
It becomes impossible to ride on a motorcycle during winter, in order that, as for "filling and going away",
it may snow like the district by the side of Hokkaido or the Sea of Japan or a road surface may freeze.
So, the motorbike season for me is from April by November, eight months, for example.
Although there will also be a warm day occasionally even cause of warming, in January in recent years,
since the road surface is still frozen in the shade, I cannot ride on a motorcycle.
However, population is 9,840,000 persons of 7.8% of the 126,490,000 total population of Japan.
Though You live in the city part,You can come out in a suburb with slight time.
The Tohoku district has few plains and is many mountainous.
The center of the Tohoku district there is the Oou mountain range, and in the east the Kitakami high ground
and Abukuma high ground, in the west Dewa high ground and asahi high ground, and in the south Iitoyo high ground and Echigo mountain range .
There is little people, there is little traffic.
The part and the rider of "Michinoku" who cannot ride on a motorcycle during winter are looking forward to spring.
Here, most of a plum and a cherry tree blooms at once.
In "Michinoku", Spring comes rapidly.
