0106D_03 APROACH [Zero day]

@We got on ferry leave to Tomakomai from Sendai at 20:00.
Team Kando had run about 350km from Tokyo to Sendai Via Tohoku Highway.SuperDumbo worked until 17:00, and took a bath in my house and chang new clothing.(^_^U

0106D_05 What do they doing on the best table of the lounge in a ferry?

On this touring, three specific smallness electric power radio machines (wireless incom) were prepared.
It attaches and is just going to test the microphone and the speaker on the helmet. In 1st day, by mechanical mulfanction, We use not well these wireless incom. But after 2nd day, we use wireless imcom very well.

0106D_11 XX of the state where it loaded into the ferry. XX carries out the tie down of both the handles, and is fixed. A handle is in straight and a side stand state. It is the same as that of the point loaded into transponder.
The touring which goes by ferry too has exceptional monochrome. The "ceremony" in_which the touring of "going by ship" starts -- is it monochrome? The heart rings high.
0106D_09It is the Tomakomai arrival in the next morning 10:40.
The member of MAT-B Hokkaido had picked up at the ferry wharf. From the window of a ferry, many sets are gallant, blue XX ran the other side of a quay, and I looked at. The XX has run toward a quay. And direction was changed, banking and ran along the quay this time.
FIRST_DAY, 0106D_13 [1st day]

It lands and, first of all, meets together. The Hokkaido member is the reunion for the first time in one year. After dropping a courtesy simply, it is the first commemoration photography.

0106D_18 0106D_19 Instantly, the high-speed route to Lake Shikotsu was fully enjoyed from Tomakomai. It is surprise suddenly at the height of the cruising speed of Hokkaido.
It is a break through Molap -> Hiroshima peak -> Kimobetsu at the station of the way of Niseko. Garage S started mentenance the titanbird's chain.
0106D_24 We fully enjoyed with the panorama line. We runs and goes by the pace of speed which can enjoy a scene. The Nakayama peak was enjoyed after running so that it may go around Mt.Yoteizan. There is a lane for slower traffic, So XX was running smoothly. We tooka a rest in the parking of a peak.
0106D_25 @ SuperDumbo became hollow by XX in this Kamui tunnel in fact in '98.
It is the inspection throughout a period of three years this time. The inside of a tunnel has dewed, and with a zebra, hydroplaning is caused and it falls. After coming out of a tunnel about 30m in a tunnel, I slid about 30m. It was the corner curved very well. Three years ago, while gliding, I remember having passed by the oncoming car. That was safe seems to be a miracle.

FIRST_DAY 0106E_09 [2nd day]

For enjoying running in Hokkaido, Michinoku and Kanto menbers leave the hotel at 9:00. But only Mr. Sasaki went to Hakodate alone.

Jyozankei ->(Highway) -> Yubari -> Hidaka -> Shimukappu -> Furano -> Biei -> Asahikawa
We took the last commemoration photography before a start.

0106E_16 We lost our way in Sapporo. We took lunch at the station of the way in Shimukappu.

Mr.Gindama who get on the ferry at 19:00, with regrettable had returned towards Tomakomai here.

0106E_19 0106E_28 We enjoyed the road from Shimukappu to Furano very much.
TV drama "Kita no kuni kara" (= From Northan Country) is famous in Japan, It takes in Furano. We went to see "the Stone-house of Goro". We passed the log-house on the convenience of time. Dissatisfied voice went up from the member who knew when the log-house was also later situated in near.
0106E_34 It is the Furano station. There is Train-Hotel in Frano station, for riders.
0106F_04 We parted from titanbird and Mr.Shima, and We left Asahikawa. It was not able to go, although it was due to go to the Lake-Saroma in fact. It went to the house of the grandmother of SuperDumbo in Kitami city with Mr.Katsu.
Kitami and Asahikawa are about 180km, 3 hours. It is the time of sunset mostly in intermediate peak Sekihoku. But is it because latitude is high? The 19:30 time of north empty is also bright. Peak Sekihoku was cold -! I dressed warmly more here.
0106F_07 We arrived at Kitami around 21:00. And we met Mr.Ganjyo who rides XX lining in Kitami city. He ride a Skyline GT-R.
0106F_16 FIRST_DAY [3rd day]

We leave Kitami at 6:30 in the morning. It is the course of Bihoro peak -> Lake Kusharo -> Lake Mashu-> Lake Akan -> Ashoro -> Kamishihoro -> Shihoro -> Shikaoi -> Shimizu -> peak Nisho today. We had a rain in Bihoro. But it was fine soon. A photograph is the Bihoro peak around 8:00 on Sunday.

This is the straight line road which continues to Lake Mashuu.
0106F_22 0106F_24 This is Lake mashuu. Only for 1 time, it was fog although I coming by the car or the motorbike 5 or 6 times. And it was fine in the highest this time. The white shadow of a lake is the cloud reflected in the surface of a lake.
The lake was transparent, to the bottom, was transparent and was visible. It was beautiful cobalt blue.
0106F_35 In Shihoro, We jointed with titanbird again. The town in Obihiro with many cars is passed and aims at Tomakomai through Shikaoi and Shimizu exceeding peak Nisho.
This is the observatory of peak Nisho. From the peak, We can look Tokachi-field and the town in Obihiro verybeautiful.
0106G_01 This is the station of the way in Hidaka. For getting on the ferry at 19:00, it is already 16:00. And it still remains 100km or more.
We ran to Tomakomai of the last destination at R235 from Hiratori.
0106G_03 We alived Tomakomai at around 17:40. We went the rotation sushi bar "Clipper" in the other side of the Tomakomai station, I bouht sushi "the takeout".
We alived ferry terminal at 18:30.When we and XX were loaded into the ferry, the ferry was left immediately for immediately after.
We celebrated this safty touring in the ferry, with eating sushi and drinking beer.
0106G_08 APROACH [4th day]

@@The ferry arrived sendai at 9:40 in the next morning. We are took last commemoration photography together here.
I and Mr. Katsu are to a house at 30 - 40 minutes after the Sendai harbor.
Titanbird went to go home by running Tohoku highway, more 350km.
It was the highest touring without rainning!

0106G_15 I washed XX immediately after just comming home. It stored XX in a garage, after wiping off finely. It is an end of the Hokkaido meeting expedition safely now!

It is the highest that everybody passed by no accident above all!

Mileage 1,284km, gasoline 75.5L, 17.0km / L.


1998 Honda Owners Meeting in Tochigi Proving Center 1998 Oct.25


FRONTLINE Honda invited four owners club - Firestorm club(VTR1000F), BIG 1 Club(CB1000SF), SL250/XR owers Club, and our MAT-B Club(CBR1100XX Super Blackbird) to Honda's Ibaraki Proving Center.
PROBE1 The opening ceremony was held from 10:00 and introduction of the Cheaf Designer of each motorcycles. After that, we walked and movedto the circuit. The circuit has two 1km-straigt and 2 banks-max 42 degree inclination. VTR1000F, 900RR, 600R, and XX ran. They ran at 180km/h at first, and finally XX ran the outer bank at 275km/h.
PROBE3 XX ran by earliness clearly different from others. The member of BIG1 club was saying that he would next ride on CBR1100XX SuperBlackbird.
PROBE4 We took four buses and inspected various test courses. Mr. Yamanaka the chief of CBR1100XX Super Blackbird, also rode the bus together. He explained about and replied also to some of our questions. The bus stopped at the bank and we actually walked along the bank. Generally Honda exhibited this course for the first time.

PROBE6 In the afternoon, We ran the course inspected during the morning. We ran the back of the leading MotorCycle every ten sets.
At first we ran in the low-speed course (flat road) by 120km/h 2 laps, next ran middle-speed course (lower bank) by 140km/h 2 laps, at last we ran high-speed course (outer bank) by 160km/h 3 laps. It was difficult to maintain the outer bank running.
PROBE5 After the High-speed run, we ran the winding road course which is 1 round a 1km . This course is reproducing the peak in Japan where middle-speed corners continue.
