HASHIMOTO Ichiko (Piano,Vo,Composer)

Born in Kobe/Japan, starts to play the piano at the age of five.
At Musashino Music University she starts her music career as pianist, voice player and composer. Since the early1980s, she performs in many concerts and records with a number of famous artists.

In Japan, her reputation and talent are distinguished, such overwhelming
artistic quality, and not only in jazz but in various music styles too, can capture and attract many fans as she continues to perform.
Her music activities extend also to contemporary music, but include many
music genres, such as classical orchestra, electronic music and club music.
She continues to pursue her vision of establishing a completely new style.
In 1998, she establishes gthe Trioh on the side of Atsuo Fujimoto and Nobuyoshi Ino.

After the release of two albums as gthe Trioh, the group starts a new project,
gUb-Xh.
In 2006, confident through her work with gUb-Xh, she decides to go abroad and
perform internationally.
