It is the name showing the area attached to "50 Moganshan Road" by being connected which is the street name of Shanghai city.　The population of Shanghai is about 17 million people, and the city is the greatest commerce and industry ,also a financial city in China.

　M50 is in the place near the Shanghai center, And it seems that it is going to build the shopping center similar to the concept of the New York SOHO.

　New York SOHO It is a shopping area in along Broadway, that it was a warehouse town before the 1960s is continuing evolution to the mecca of an art gallery district, and great large shopping centers, such as a brand boutique, a restaurant, and interior design furniture.

　Aiming at such a town, the present construction is advanced also M50.

　The place is about 1 kilometer in the west from the Shanghai（south）station (subway line no.1) exit of No. 3.

　The buildings were a spinning mill, a cotton mill, a woolen mill and　warehouses before. These buildings are used for a new company. The company of approximately 120 opened stores such as art gallery, a studio, a movie and a TV program production company.

　There are 22 buildings or more in M50. Shanghai Fugetsusha Gallery is on the first floor of the 17^th buildings. In M50, it is a gallery which only Japanese manages. Management is carried out by a different original system from the art gallery by the other Chinese managements.
