Principal biography

Katsuhisa Hirokawa received the BS and MS degree in physics from Yamaguchi University in 1985 and 1987, and Ph.D. degree in Material and Life Science from Osaka University in 1998. Since 1991, he has been a researcher in the Eastern Hiroshima Prefecture Industrial Research Institute. He is a member of OSA and OSJ.
