MURABAYASHI Tadashi Archives
(Paris 2000 The photographic month)
|
One hundred and sixty years has pased since Danguerre invented the photograph in Paris. The image of the photograph today, however, is changing because of the rise in digital technology. Due to digital imagery, people don't care as much about restoring and keeping photos in better condition while in storage. Practical techniques for restoring photos invented by Murabayashi Tadashi, has saved many original photos from ruin. His son, Murabayashi Takao, perfected this rechnique and has succeeded in restoring original prints to tohe same quality as they were when they were taken. Photography has home and its roots in Paris. Therefore, we proudly announce this new photographic technology to the public in Paris, where photography was invented. We value this opportunity because not only is this new technology new but also it is important to the world of photopraphy. We are showing examples of vintage prints from Murabayashi Tadashi, his coach Fukuhara Shinzo, and Sabine Weiss, who is currently living in Paris. | |
