Trouble Cause Repair and adjustment

All of the function switchs didn't work. The contacts of the switchs were oxidized. Decomposed and polished contacts.

1st L.O frequency was a few MHz upper than required frequency. Decreasing capacitance of a trimmer capacitor at the 1st L.O. tunk circuit. Replace the trimmer capacitor.

Frequency range of the 1st L.O. was narrower than the required range. The inductance of the 1st L.O. tunk circuit was lower than the proper value. Add a quarter roll to the 1st L.O. tunk inductor. Adjust the frequency tracking between RF amplifier and 1st L.O.

No oscillation of the record calibrator. The contact of the oscillation level VR were oxidized. Adjust again the oscillation level to -6db of 75kHz modulation signal.
