The genus Lohora is endemic in Sulawesi and the several species of the family are recorded. The apex of the forewing is more round than that of genus Mycalesis, the relative of genus Lohora. The underside wing has very characteristic design with four big eyeballs. Thanks to this unique design it is easy to distinguish this species from other Satyridae group. The upperside of the wing dominates orange color with marginal dark brown. They live in the dark forests and occasionally appear at the edge of the forests. [Distribution] Endemic in Sulawesi
