All about Wild Carp
My fishing home ground is the trunk of the Tone River.
This homepage does not include boasting about catching big carp.
So this may not be interesting for those who want to know where you can catch big carp.

I’d like to talk about various things about carp.

1. My Philosophy of Carp Fishing.

Carp fishing at the Tone River

My philosophy is that we should have a purpose even when we pursure our pleasure. I have enjoyed reading amazingly elaborated homepages by many carp anglers.
Also I have read magazines for enthusiasts like me and have seen the various homepages by anglers in U.S.A, Canada, Britain , France, Holland, Italy, etc
.

The purpose of carp fishing, for almost all anglers is to catch big carp.
It is quite natural. Trying to catch as small carp as possible isn’t interesting, and it isn’t the subject to talk to our friends, either.

When I go fishing at the Tone River or other places, I enjoy talking with many anglers about carp fishing spots, baits, and so on.
However, only one thing we disagree about is what to do with the carp we have caught.
It is common that we release them, but I take one or two back home to eat.

Is wild carp edible?  Yes! I fish them to eat!
