９．Books on carp fishing in Japan（from my library）　Please understand that I can’t post the content.
Konishi Shigeki 小西　茂木
His “Wild Carp Fishing” has been the best of all the books I have ever read. His another book, “Freshwater Fishing” also shows his broad and deep knowledge of carp fishing. 　I was first fascinated by carp fishing through this “Wild Carp Fishing”. It was published in 1971, and I have read it again and again. It has become a classic for carp anglers, yet, the content has not become out of date. 　In 1978, it was revised and at the end of it, HOHCHI which Mr. Ikeda invented was introduced. It was a kind of sensor with a wire sounding the alarm for "fish on". I used it for a long time. So, I cherish it as one of my treasures.

Freshwater Fishing I bought it at a secondhand bookstore. It contains essay, short stories and also wonderful skills of writing.	Wild Carp Fishing published in 1971, (first edition)		Wild Carp Fishing published in 1978

Mr. Konishi was a member of the Japan Children Literature Association, and his writing led me to feel like going carp fishing at once. It also include the minute explanation of carp fishing tackles. I have never read such a charming sentences as his.

Yamada Isao 山田　勲

It is a pity that a lot of super anglers who contributed to the development of wild carp fishing in Japan have passed away.

Beside these books, I have many books related to carp fishing. Since I can read English, I have some books published in U.K.

It contains stories about carp fishing. He also wrote many books on fishing..	He is a translator of "the complete angler" by Izaak Walton		His witty writing style can be seen in this book. He is a popular novelist.

According to this book, how delicious the head of carp is beyond description. I was moved to find that the British had known the good taste of carp head at that time.		It is not necessary to talk about this famous book.
