久保 禎(Tadashi Kubo) Tadashi KUBO was born in Kagoshima, Japan in 1962. He graduated from Tokyo Gakugei University and completed his postgraduate course at the same university. Studied under Prof. Nobukio NAKAMATA and Kiyotomi YOSHIZAKI in Japan, and Prof. Jan Van LANDEGHEM at the Royal Flemish Conservatory of Music in Brussels. Won the special prize at the France-Japan Contemporary Music Composition Competition(83), the fourth prize at the Tokyo International Guitar Piece Competition(88), the excellence award at the South-Japan Music Competition(88), Kagoshima Prefecture Art Prize(05). Invited to the Youngnam International Contemporary Music Festival in Korea(93/05), ACL/ISCM X in Tokyo(98), East-Asia International Contemporary Music Festival in Korea(03), FESTIVAL Internazionale "LE PIETRE CHE CANTANO" in Italy(04), JAPAN TODAY in Germany(07). His works were performed at several international music festivals, 21st Century Chorus Festival in Tokyo(02), Kaleidoscope 2004 in Brussels, Hungarian Arts Festivals Federation “MUSIC OF OUR AGE” in Budapest(04), Exhibition of Contemporary Music 2005 in Tokyo, Contemporary Horizon in Tokyo(05), East-Asia Contemporary Music Festival in Korea(06), etc. He is currently a professor at The International University of Kagoshima. |
