Several days later, the high council of Jurai was held and all the leaders of the imperial family were summoned to it. Azusa prepared for the judgment which should be hard for him and for Mitsuki. However, what was declared then was the performance of the tree selection ceremony for him. He was surprised but accepted the Kings words.
Behind this court, there was a negotiation between Seto and Shyuzan, which every one could not hear. In the Jurai court, one can discuss with others without any interference by using a special temporary shell. In there, Seto pursued Shyuzan for the spy he sent into Mitsuki's room. None were allowed to enter her room in any occasion and if Azusa was to be punished then Shyuzan, too would be appealed. For this, Shyuzan had to decline his appeal.

The next day, the ceremony of the tree selection had been held. For the ceremony, more than three people must attend as witness however most of the people of each imperial family participated in it to see Azusa, as many loved this rantipole but pure little boy. The boy headed to the transporter. If the tree of the second generation accepts the one then he is to be transported to the next floor and face each tree till one talks to him. If he is not transported, the third generation tree will be given to him. Usually, to most of the people of the imperial family the third generation is handed and few are transported to the next stage.
The view changed when Azusa stepped into the transporter and he was carried inside the heaven's tree where the second generations stood. Seto, the Jurai King, Kotono, leader of the Tatsuki family and Mitsuki followed him. They walked to each and all the trees greeted Azusa but none accepted him as its partner. They were confused for this, but finally they found the answer, Azusa was to move to the next stage, the floor of the first generation. They were surprised at this, as only three persons had passed to this step through the Jurai history. Mitsuki led Azusa's to the next transporter and there they vanished while the three left behind watched them go and in the Jurai King's heart filled the grief and love to his grand daughter.
