Several years have passed since Yoshyo first entered the academy.
Yoshyo kept on returning to Jurai for half a year and then come back to the academy. Airi tried her best while he stayed in the academy to make him relax and act as a normal boy but after the stay in Jurai, he turned back to what he used to be, a keen and sharp tensioned boy. Then, there was a call from Airi's home planet Airai to her. It was from her father, Gaira and the second minister of Airai, Goba. Goba told her that her engagement has carried out favorably and she was to come back at once to her home for her wedding. She was surprised but she could not refuse as her father was old and ill and she must obey the second minister's command as the daughter of Airai. The only thing she cared was that Yoshyo was still in Jurai for his half an year stay, and might not be able to meet him before her departure and never after she returned to Airai.
Such time, she heard that Seto, the power of Jurai, was visiting the academy. She thought it was her last chance to help Yoshyo and prepared to meet her. She waited at one of the halls wearing the Jurai's clothes, which she made from the clothes she got from Yoshyo before, till Seto passed. There she met Seto and tried to ask her for help. Seto walked up to her and whispered to Airi.
'Unfortunately Jurai and Airai are not in a good mood now. Do you not think that as the daughter of Airai, it is not preferable meeting me in such an official place? I do appreciate what you have done for Yoshyo and wish that someday we can meet officially as a Jurai people and Airai people.'
Seto's force and pressure was enormous and Airi was ashamed of herself and mortified and stood there with tears after Seto and her attendants left.

However, that night, Seto appeared to Airi's room with her handmade dishes and a cake, which she made in the restaurant "Narsis'. (They were delicious. Actually, Seto taught Sasami how to cook! Misaki and Aeka were not so good in cooking, at least weren't interested in it.) She asked her for a dinner and Airi let her in. She told Airi how thankful Funaho was for what she has done for Yoshyo. She also asked her about her marriage, at which Airi was surprised, as it was a secret. As told in the first novel 'Jurai', Seto still had the largest information network, even larger than the King of Jurai. She already knew who was to marry with her and told her actually what Goba and others were planning. (I'm not exactly sure, but this fiancee was related to Amaki Kasen（雨木　華船）. Kasen was to marry with a girl of the Amaki（天木） family, one of the Jurai imperial family. This means that Airai would have a person in one of the imperial family and one day might have a Jurai king. Their object was to get Tsunami.) She also suggested that it was possible to cancel this engagement and said she had a plan to let them withdraw this story. She mentioned that Airi and Yoshyo would have a chance to defect to the academy.
' You love Yoshyo, don't you?' asked Seto, 'I have once met your father. He is stronger than you think. He can handle the situation.'(* Goba was actually possessing the power of Jurai.)
'I must leave now.' she said and stood up. She walked to the door and look back to Airi again and said, 'You must decide by yourself. Oh, and I will recommend you to learn cooking in Narsis , Airi-dono.'
And she left showing a gentle smile.
After Seto left, Airi got tired and lost all of her strength and fell on her bed. She knew that she and Yoshyo had something in their home which they couldn't leave behind.
And she wept.
