"Ayeka and Yosho part 2"

"Ayeka's new look and Yosho's new life"

Having the sun shine on his cheeks, Yosho sighed in his bed.

'It's an about time - Ah, here she comes.'

A sound of Misaki's foot steps was heard from the sidewall of the Tenjyu. Usually she slammed the window and jumped into Yosho's room but, that day the noise of the leaves scraping stopped just in front of the window.

In wonder, Yosho turned to the window. He could not see Misaki, but instead he heard her hesitating voice.

'little Yosho - No - Yosho. Are you awake?'

'Yes. Good morning lady Misaki.'

'You see, from now on, I won't be able to wake you up. I'm sorry.'

'- er no. I can wake up by my self already. Please do not care about it.'

'You're right. You are already a man. Good bye then, Yosho.'

The sound of moving along the sidewall faded. It cannot be her idea making up such decision. how ever never called him "Yosho" just "Little Yosho". Thinking about it, Yosho thought that Seto must have said something to her for him.

Listening to the sound getting smaller, Yosho sighed.

However Yosho did not notice that it wasn't a sigh of a relief. He couldn't find out what his real feelings were. Yosho, being 12 years old, was already a man but yet still a boy.

But Yosho slightly notice his feeling that following evening.

The bell rang that night, informing him of a visitor.

'Who is it?'

Replying to Yosho's words, a diffident voice of Ayeka came in.

'-Brother.'

'Is it you Ayeka? It is surprise to see you come in from the front door. Oh um.., come in.'

Usually Ayeka would come in showing a full smile on her face. But this time there was no sign that the door was opening, so Yosho closed his book that he was reading and stood up in wonder.

'What's wrong? You are really quiet today- hm!?' Opening the door Yosho gasped seeing Ayeka.

There she stood Ayeka having her hair in dark purple and her stinging out hairstyle was changed to a gentle and beautiful way.

'Ayeka - what happened to your hair-?'

Yosho never saw his mother's childhood except for pictures when she was 14, but he imagined that Funaho should have been like the Ayeka that standing right in front of him when Funaho was Ayeka's age. Then he realized that Ayeka must have changed her hair element by using genetic surgery to make her genes more like her father's, which was more similar to Funaho's, in order to be an ideal woman for Yosho. 'It's true that I think Mother as my ideal woman. But - .'

'Yosho. Is Ayeka's hair style - strange?'Yosho thought to him self In a diffident but firmed way, she looked up and asked Yosho.

'Did lady Misaki not say anything about it to you?'

'She said it was cute and then she hugged me and didn't let me go for about an hour.'

'I see. You look very nice Ayeka'

In spite of his words something itched inside his heart. He noticed that it was the same pain he had felt since he heard about his engagement from Ayeka, though still he did not know what reason was for it. He did not dislike Ayeka. He did care of his mother's situation and accepted the marriage, who could not love a younger sister that yearns with a pure heart?

However the pain continued.

It song his heart.

Not to let her notice his feelings, Yosho smiled at Ayeka and said.

'You really are cute.'

'Thank you Brother. I'll show everyone my hair style!'

'Ok'

She must have been very happy being praised by her brother, Ayeka nodded in pleasure and ran out through the hall. Her style running away looked just like Misaki's.

Suddenly a shadow passed over Yosho's face.

He now knew his real feelings.

Next morning Yosho woke up as usual and heard Misaki passing through the leaves of the Tenjyu approaching his room.

Imagining the surprised face of Yosho waken up, Misaki must be laughing by now.

Yosho's heart beat rapidly.

The sound stopped just beside the window.

'Little Yosho Good morning!!' laughing merrily Misaki would cry out.

The intention of Yosho came to a peak. - Yes, usually it was so -.

But now it was-.

'- Good morning Yosho.'

Not to show herself, Misaki called him from behind the wall it was not her usual merry voice but it was in a low tone like yesterday.

'Good morning lady Misaki.'

Yosho replied pretending to be calm and not to make her notice his feelings. He held himself from springing out from the bed and dashing to the window side.

Without any other word Misaki moved away.

Yosho felt his eyes filling with tears. The tears dropped from his cheeks and changed the color on to his pillow. his lips Trembled, and Yosho whispered,

'Lady Misaki'

He did not move till the sound of the leaves made by Misaki faded.

Since then, this turned out to be his new daily life.
