12/13にペンタゴンが公表したビンレディン・テープのテキスト（以下、日本語、英語、仏語）を読みましたが、これは本物であると思いました。1時間分のビデオ全体を捏造するのはセットで捏造するのは至難であり、ビデオ全体は本物。よって、偽造の可能性があるのはオサマの発言の一部のみ吹き替える可能性は理論的にはあります。
が、話の全体の流れが一つの思想のもとに一貫しており、信憑性の高いものと思われます。

「５日間の待機」
ビンラディンを弾劾するカセットの存在をワシントン・ポストが明らかにしたのは日曜日であった。第一面で61分47秒のビデオが米兵によりJalalabadで発見されたと報じた。同時に副大統領Dick
CheneyがNBC-TVに対して、11月9日の日付のあるビデオの存在を公表した。それを公表するのに5日を要した。
ブッシュ政権は、そのビデオが偽物でないことの確認と、ビデオにテロリストの隠されたメッセージがないか調べていた。最後には、ビデオの音質がよくなかったので翻訳に時間を要した。大学教授に翻訳をチェックして貰ったので時間を要した。

「ラディカルなムラーは米国が偽造したと非難」
西側は米国大統領ブッシュが証明したと信じたがイスラム世界は違う。木曜日に公開されたビデオに対してその真偽に多くの疑問が投げかけれている。
このビデオではテロリストの首領のビンラディンが9/11攻撃を鼻にかけている。
パキスタンのムラーは、ビデオを米国のプロパガンダと非難した。多くのモスリム諸国では、懐疑的である。
「9/11攻撃にビンラディンがプランして資金を提供した証明とはならない」とマレーシアの最大野党首Kanaruddin
Jaafarmは述べた。インドネシアのイスラム野党のMuhammad
Rizieqは「ビデオ・テープは独立した組織の検証を受けていない。米国にとりビデオを改竄するのは容易である」と述べた。
ビデオが発見された過程は曖昧である。米国兵士がDschalalabadの個人家で見つけたとされている。それがどのように証明されるのか。ビデオの公開が遅れたことが憶測を呼んでいる。ビスバーデンの連邦捜査当局は、米国が入念に調査したことに疑念の余地はないとした。シュレーダ首相は、サウジアラビアの過激派ビンラディンが9/11攻撃の犯人であることは疑いの余地がないと述べた。
イスラム世界では偽造の声がある。俳優が演じているとするものもいる。
ハンブルグのドイツ東洋研究所のイスラム学者Udo
Steinbachはビデオを懐疑的に見ている。
「ビデオそのもは本物に見える。サウジのシェイクを含む2人の客人を迎えて飲食を飲んでいる姿は東洋では典型的なものである。しかし、攻撃について述べている箇所は偽造らしい」とシュピーゲル紙に述べた。

「完全な証拠」
ビンラディン・ビデオはアルカイダ首領の重要な責任を明らかにした。以下に欧州の主要な新聞のコメントを掲載する。
1)オランダのハーグの独立系Algemeen Dagblad新聞
金曜日に以下のように報じている。米国が偶然、発見したビデオは、宗教的狂信者がこれらの行動を行うことを示した。
2)英国の左翼リベラルのガーディアン新聞
これらのビデオはオサマ・ビンラディンが有罪であることを示した。米国やイスラエルの諜報機関が責任があるというファンタシーを打ち砕いた。ビンラディンが普通のモスリム信者の理解出来ない非モスリムであることを示した。

これはビンラディンの有罪を示す完全な証拠である。イラン、イラク、北朝鮮、ソマリア、スーダン、シリア、イエメンはテロを支援したので米国の標的となりうる。
4)左翼リベラルのフランスのリベラシオン
オサマ・ビンラディンの悪意のある天才性が危険な敵対者として表されている。彼は現代技術を、ビデオ技術を、宗教的な狂信をサポートするものとして利用している。彼のビデオは、文明を倒す為の戦争の武器として用いられている。モスレムが人間爆弾としてそれ以外の人類に対する爆弾として利用されている。

【北米総局】米政府が１３日に公表したウサマ・ビンラディン氏が登場するビデオの会話全文と、説明の要旨は次の通り。
◆米政府の説明
１１月半ば、ウサマ・ビンラディンはアフガニスタンのカンダハルと見られる場所で支持者らと会談した。会談内容は、すべての参加者承知の上で録画された。
録画は約１時間で３部構成。ガズニ地方の米ヘリコプター墜落現場の模様（約１２分間）と、下半身が麻痺していると思われる身元不詳のシェイク（長老）と呼ばれる人物をビンラディンとその副官が表敬訪問している様子だ。場所はカンダハルのゲストハウスと見られる。録画の順序は実際の出来事の順序の逆になっている。ビンラディンの訪問が終わるシーンで始まり、ヘリコプターの墜落現場の様子が続く。最後に、テープの頭から約３９分の時点で、ビンラディンの訪問開始シーンがスタートする。発言内容は実際の出来事の順番に沿って書かれている。

長老 あなたは我々に武器と希望を与えてくれた。我々はあなたのためにアラーに感謝する。あなたの時間を無駄にしたくないが、これは兄弟たちが設定してくれた会談だ。我々への支持は強まっている。かつて支持しなかった者たちまでが我々を支持している。私はあなたの時間を無駄にしたくなかった。我々はアラーを称える。我々はアラーを称える。我々はカブールから来た。訪問できて非常に喜ばしい。自宅でもキャンプでも、あなたにアラーの祝福あれ。
運転手に我々を運ぶよう頼んだ。アラーのおかげで満月の夜だった。老人を含むすべての人々があなたがやったことを褒め称えている。何よりもアラーの恩恵による、あなたの偉大な行動を。アラーの導きによるものであり、ジハードの祝福された果実だ。
ビンラディン アラーに感謝します。（サウジアラビアの）モスクはどう見ているのか。

作戦を行った若者たちは広く受け入れられているフィクフには従わなかったが、ムハンマドのもたらしたフィクフに従った。あの若者たち（内容不詳）はニューヨークとワシントンでの行動で、今まで世界各地で行われたすべての演説を超える演説を行った。
彼らの演説はアラブ人にも非アラブ人にも、中国人にすら理解された。報道でもそう言っている。
オランダのある（イスラミック）センターでは今回に作戦後にイスラム教に入信した人の数は、過去１１年の入信者数以上になったと聞いている。イスラムのラジオで、米国でイスラム学校を経営している人物が「イスラムについて学ぶためイスラムに関する書籍を求める人の需要に追いつけない」と言うのを聞いた。今回の事件で（真のイスラムについて）人々が考えるようになった。これはイスラムにとって大きな利益だ。

長老 私もそのニュースを聞いた。我々は何も考えていなかったのだが、アラーの思し召しか、突然、ニュースが飛び込んできて、誰もがとても喜んだ。皆が次の日の朝まで事件のことを話した。我々は朝の４時まで寝ずにニュースを聞いていたが、内容は毎回少しずつ違っていた。
皆が非常に喜び、「アラーは偉大だ」「アラーに感謝する」「アラーをほめ称えよ」と言い合った。兄弟たちがうれしそうだったので私もうれしかった。あの日は祝福の電話がひっきりなしにかかってきた。母親が次々にかかる電話を受けていた。アラーに感謝せよ。アラーは偉大なり。アラーをほめ称えよ。

明らかな勝利だったことに疑いはない。アラーが我々に名誉を与えた。この聖なるラマダン月の間に、祝福とさらなる勝利を与えるだろう。これこそ誰もが望んでいたことだ。アメリカが洞くつから出てきたことを、アラーに感謝する。
今回は我々が米国を攻撃したが次は信者たち、良い信者たち、強い信者たちの手で攻撃が行われるだろう。アラーによって偉大な行いとなった。この行いには、アラーが大きなほうびをあなたに準備してくれている。あなたの前でこんなことを言って申し訳ないが、これは単なる私の考えだ。アラーの他に神はない。
長い間経験したことも感じたこともない幸福の中に私はいる。アルラバニの言葉を思い出す。彼らはトルコ人などや一部のアラブ人と連携して我々と敵対し、預言者ムハンマドの時代のように我々を包囲している、という言葉だ。今まさに我々が置かれている状況だ。だが、彼は信者たちを励まし「いずれは彼らが同じ状況に置かれることになる」と話した。これは我々にとって慈悲であり祝福だ。
いずれ、イスラムのしるしが打ちたてられ、アルムジャヒディーンやアルアンサールの時代（イスラム教の草創期）と同じ時代がやってくるだろう。アラーに従う者にとっての勝利も訪れるだろう。古い時代、アブ・バクールやオスマンやアリなど（正統カリフ）の時代のようになるのだ。いまや、イスラムの歴史で最大の、邪悪な人々に対抗するジハードがやってこようとしている。

◆テープの最初に録画されていた表敬訪問の後半部分。
ビンラディン アブ・ダラ・アザム、彼の魂にアラーの祝福あれ。記録を残さないよう言った（内容不詳）ので、私はこれは吉兆だと思った。そして我々にアラーの祝福あれ（内容不詳）。アブ・アルハサン・アル（マズリ）が２、３日前、アルジャジーラ・テレビに登場して米国人に「本当の男だというならここに来て我々に立ち向かえ」（内容不詳）。

話を聞きながら私はアラーに彼を助けてくれるよう祈った。（同様な）話をもう一人が去年話していたが、意味が分からなかったので彼にそう言った。彼は「自分はジハードから去った人々を見た。彼らはワシントンとニューヨークにいた」と言った。私が「なんのことだ」と聞くと、飛行機がビルにぶつかったのだと話た。去年のことだ。
この話についてあまり考えたことはなかったが事件が起きた時、彼がやってきて「見ましたか。不思議だ」と言った。もう一人の男は、アラーに誓いながら、自分の妻があの事件を１週間前に見たと話していた。飛行機がビルに突っ込んだのを見たというのだ。信じられない、神よ。
ビンラディン 作戦を実行した兄弟たちは皆、自分たちの作戦が殉教者となるものであることを承知していた。彼らの一人一人に米国に行くよう頼んだが、彼らは作戦そのものの内容は知らなかった。だが彼らは訓練を受けていた。彼らが米国に着き飛行機に乗る直前まで作戦の内容は明かさなかった。
（内容不詳）そして彼はこう言った。「操縦訓練を受けた者たちは他の人間（実行犯）のことは知らない。（４つの）グループのメンバーはお互いのグループについて知らなかった」。

Excerpted Text From Osama bin Laden Tape
Aollowing are excerpts from the transcript
of the videotape released yesterday by the
Pentagon showing Osama bin Laden discussing
the Sept. 11 attacks during a visit to a
Sheik al-Ghamdi, possibly in mid-November
in Kandahar, Afghanistan. The full text and
two video excerpts are available at The New
York Times on the Web at nytimes.com/world.
The tape is about one hour long and in three
segments. One segment records a visit to
the site of a downed American helicopter,
while two segments show the visit to the
sheik. The videotape reverses the sequence
of these two segments, putting the latter
part of the visit first. The excerpts below
follow the reversed order of the tape.
OSAMA BIN LADEN: When people see a strong
horse and a weak horse, by nature, they will
like the strong horse. This is only one goal;
those who want people to worship the lord
of the people, without following that doctrine,
will be following the doctrine of Muhammad,
peace be upon him. (He quotes several short
and incomplete Hadith verses):
"I was ordered to fight the people until
they say there is no god but Allah, and his
prophet Muhammad."
"Some people may ask: why do you want
to fight us?"
"There is an association between those
who say: I believe in one god and Muhammad
is his prophet, and those who don't [inaudible].
"Those who do not follow the true fiqh
[law] - the fiqh of Muhammad, the real fiqh.
They are just accepting what is being said
at face value."
Those youth who conducted the operations
did not accept any fiqh in the popular terms,
but they accepted the fiqh that the Prophet
Muhammad brought. Those young men [inaudible]
said in deeds, in New York and Washington
- speeches that overshadowed all other speeches
made everywhere else in the world. The speeches
are understood by both Arabs and non-Arabs,
even by Chinese. It is above all - the media
said. Some of them said that in Holland,
at one of the centers, the number of people
who accepted Islam during the days that followed
the operations were more than the people
who accepted Islam in the last 11 years.
I heard someone on Islamic radio who owns
a school in America say: "We don't have
time to keep up with the demands of those
who are asking about Islamic books to learn
about Islam." . . .
BIN LADEN: Abdallah Azzam, Allah bless his
soul, told me not to record anything [inaudible]
. . . so I thought that was a good omen,
and Allah will bless us. [inaudible] . .
. Abu al-Hasan al-(Masri), who appeared on
Al Jazeera TV a couple of days ago and addressed
the Americans, saying: "If you are true
men, come down here and face us." [inaudible]
. . . He told me a year ago: "I saw
in a dream, we were playing a soccer game
against the Americans. When our team showed
up in the field, they were all pilots!"
He said: "So I wondered if that was
a soccer game or a pilot game? Our players
were pilots." He (Abu al-Hasan) didn't
know anything about the operation until he
heard it on the radio. He said the game went
on and we defeated them. That was a good
omen for us.
SHEIK: May Allah be blessed.
UNIDENTIFIED MAN OFF CAMERA: Abd al- Rahman
al-(Ghamri) said he saw a vision, before
the operation, a plane crashed into a tall
building. He knew nothing about it.
SHEIK: May Allah be blessed!
SLAIMAN ABOU-GHAITH: I was sitting with the
sheik in a room, then I left to go to another
room where there was a TV set. The TV broadcasted
the big event. The scene was showing an Egyptian
family sitting in their living room, they
exploded with joy. Do you know when there
is a soccer game and your team wins? It was
the same expression of joy. There was a subtitle
that read: "In revenge for the children
of Al Aqsa, Osama bin Laden executes an operation
against America." So I went back to
the sheik (meaning Osama bin Laden) who was
sitting in a room with 50 to 60 people. I
tried to tell him about what I saw, but he
made gesture with his hands, meaning: "I
know, I know."
BIN LADEN: He did not know about the operation.
Not everybody knew. [inaudible] Mohamed (Atta)
from the Egyptian family (meaning the Egyptian
Al Qaeda group), was in charge of the group.
SHEIK: A plane crashing into a tall building
was out of anyone's imagination. This was
a great job. He was one of the pious men
in the organization. He became a martyr.
Allah bless his soul.
(Referring to dreams and visions.) The plane
that he saw crashing into the building was
seen before by more than one person. One
of the good religious people has left everything
and come here. He told me, "I saw a
vision, I was in a huge plane, long and wide.
I was carrying it on my shoulders and I walked
from the road to the desert for half a kilometer.
I was dragging the plane."
I listened to him and I prayed to Allah to
help him. Another person told me that last
year he saw, but I didn't understand and
I told him, "I don't understand."
He said, "I saw people who left for
jihad . . . and they found themselves in
New York . . . in Washington and New York."
I said, "What is this?" He told
me the plane hit the building. That was last
year. We haven't thought much about it. But,
when the incidents happened he came to me
and said, "Did you see . . . this is

said and swore by Allah that his wife had
seen the incident a week earlier. She saw
the plane crashing into a building . . .
that was unbelievable, my God.
BIN LADEN: The brothers, who conducted the
operation, all they knew was that they have
a martyrdom operation and we asked each of
them to go to America but they didn't know
anything about the operation, not even one
letter. But they were trained and we did
not reveal the operation to them until they
are there and just before they boarded the
planes. [inaudible] Then he said: Those who
were trained to fly didn't know the others.
One group of people did not know the other
group. [inaudible]
(Someone in the crowd asks Mr. bin Laden
to tell the sheik about the dream of Abu
Daud.)
BIN LADEN: We were at a camp of one of the
brother's guards in Kandahar. This brother
belonged to the majority of the group. He
came close and told me that he saw, in a
dream, a tall building in America, and in
the same dream he saw Mukhtar teaching them
how to play karate. At that point, I was
worried that maybe the secret would be revealed
if everyone starts seeing it in their dream.
So I closed the subject. I told him if he
sees another dream, not to tell anybody,
because people will be upset with him.

his dream about two planes hitting a big
building.)
BIN LADEN: They were overjoyed when the first
plane hit the building, so I said to them:
be patient.
The difference between the first and the
second plane hitting the towers was 20 minutes.
And the difference between the first plane
and the plane that hit the Pentagon was one
hour.
SHEIK: They (the Americans) were terrified
thinking there was a coup.
(The next segment of the videotape records
an earlier part of Mr. bin Laden's visit
with the sheik.)
SHEIK: Hundreds of people used to doubt you
and few only would follow you until this
huge event happened. Now hundreds of people
are coming out to join you. I remember a
vision by Sheik Salih al-(Shuaybi). He said:
"There will be a great hit and people
will go out by hundreds to Afghanistan."
I asked him: "To Afghanistan?"
He replied, "Yes."
According to him, the only ones who stay
behind will be the mentally impotent and
the liars. I remembered his saying that hundreds
of people will go out to Afghanistan. He
had this vision a year ago. This event discriminated
between the different types of followers.
BIN LADEN: [inaudible] We calculated in advance
the number of casualties from the enemy,
who would be killed based on the position
of the tower. We calculated that the floors
that would be hit would be three or four
floors. I was the most optimistic of them
all. [inaudible] Due to my experience in
this field, I was thinking that the fire
from the gas in the plane would melt the
iron structure of the building and collapse
the area where the plane hit and all the
floors above it only. This is all that we
had hoped for.
SHEIK: Allah be praised.
BIN LADEN: We were at [inaudible] when the
event took place. We had notification since
the previous Thursday that the event would
take place that day. We had finished our
work that day and had the radio on. It was
5:30 p.m. our time. I was sitting with Dr.
Ahmad Abu al-(Khair). Immediately, we heard
the news that a plane had hit the World Trade
Center. We turned the radio station to the
news from Washington. The news continued
and (there was) no mention of the attack
until the end. At the end of the newscast,
they reported that a plane just hit the World
Trade Center.
SHEIK: Allah be praised.
BIN LADEN: After a little while, they announced
that another plane had hit the World Trade
Center. The brothers who heard the news were
overjoyed by it.
SHEIK: I listened to the news and I was sitting.
We didn't . . . we were not thinking about
anything, and all of a sudden, Allah willing,
we were talking about how come we didn't
have anything, and all of a sudden the news
came and everyone was overjoyed and everyone,
until the next day, in the morning, was talking
about what was happening and we stayed until
4 o'clock, listening to the news, every time
a little bit different, everyone was very
joyous and saying "Allah is great,"
"Allah is great," "We are
thankful to Allah," "Praise Allah."
And I was happy for the happiness of my brothers.
That day the congratulations were coming
on the phone nonstop. The mother was receiving
phone calls continuously. Thank Allah. Allah
is great, praise be to Allah.
(Quoting a verse from the Koran) "Fight
them, Allah will torture them, with your
hands, he will torture them. He will deceive
them and he will give you victory. Allah
will forgive the believers, he is knowledgeable
about everything."
No doubt it is a clear victory. Allah has
bestowed on us . . . honor on us . . . and
he will give us blessing and more victory
during this holy month of Ramadan. And this
is what everyone is hoping for. Thank Allah
America came out of its caves. We hit her
the first hit and the next one will hit her
with the hands of the believers, the good
believers, the strong believers.
By Allah it is a great work. Allah prepares
for you a great reward for this work. I'm
sorry to speak in your presence, but it is
just thoughts, just thoughts. By Allah, who
there is no god but him. I live in happiness,
happiness . . . I have not experienced, or
felt, in a long time.

Voici l'integralite de la conversation entre
Ben Laden et ses partisans enregistree sur
cassette video. Ce texte est la traduction
de celui que le Pentagone a diffuse jeudi
13 decembre. La presentation du document,
en italique, ainsi que la note finale sur
les traducteurs americains sont du Pentagone.
A LA MI-NOVEMBRE, Oussama Ben Laden s'est
exprime devant une assemblee de partisans,
peut-etre a Kandahar, en Afghanistan. Ces
commentaires furent enregistres en video
au su et au vu de Ben Laden et de toutes
les personnes presentes.
A noter : la bande dure a peu pres une heure
et contient trois sequences differentes :
une visite de quelques personnes sur les
lieux du crash de l'helicoptere americain
dans la province de Ghazni (environ 12 minutes)
; et deux sequences montrant une visite privee
de Ben Laden et de ses lieutenants a un cheik
non identifie, qui semble paralyse des membres
inferieurs. Apparemment, cette visite a lieu
dans une auberge de Kandahar. Sur la bande,
l'ordre des sequences est bouleverse : la
fin de la visite privee se trouve au debut,
la visite de l'helicoptere au milieu, le
debut de la visite privee n'apparait qu'apres
39 minutes de film environ. Dans la transcription
ci-dessous, l'ordre des sequences a ete retabli.
Compte tenu de la mauvaise qualite de la
bande originale, il ne s'agit pas d'une transcription
integrale, la teneur des messages et de l'information
y est restituee.

Ben Laden : Quel est l'etat d'esprit dans

Cheik : Sincerement, tres positif. Cheik
Al-Bahrani (phonetique) a fait un bon sermon
dans sa classe apres les prieres du soir.
Il a ete enregistre sur video et je devais
te l'apporter mais, malheureusement, j'ai
du partir immediatement.
Ben Laden : Le jour des evenements ?
Cheik : Au moment exact de l'attaque contre
l'Amerique, a ce moment precis. Il (Bahrani)
a fait un sermon tres impressionnant. Allah
soit remercie pour ses benedictions. Il (Bahrani)
fut le premier a ecrire en temps de guerre.
Je lui ai rendu visite deux fois a Al-Qasim.
Ben Laden :Qu'Allah soit remercie.
Cheik : C'est ce que j'avais demande a Allah.
Il (Bahrani)a dit aux jeunes : "Vous
appelez le martyre de vos v?ux et vous vous
demandez ou aller (pour le martyre) ?"
Allah les incitait a marcher. J'ai demande
a Allah qu'il me soit donne de voir la victoire
de la verite sur l'injuste. Nous demandons
a Allah de le proteger et de lui accorder
le martyre pour avoir emis la premiere fatwa.
Il a subi un interrogatoire, comme tu le
sais. Quand on l'a appele pour lui demander
de signer, il leur a dit : "Ne me faites
pas perdre mon temps, j'ai une autre fatwa.
Si vous me voulez, je peux signer les deux
en meme temps."
Ben Laden :Qu'Allah soit remercie.
Cheik :Sa position est vraiment tres encourageante.
Quand je lui ai rendu visite pour la premiere
fois, il m'a dit : "Comment va Cheik
Ben Laden ?" Il t'envoie son salut.
Quant a Cheik Suleyman Ulwan, il a donne
une belle fatwa, qu'Allah le benisse. Par
miracle, je l'ai entendue sur Radio Coran.
C'etait etrange parce qu'il (Ulwan) sacrifiait
sa place, qui equivaut a une place de directeur.
C'etait retransmis mot a mot. Les freres
l'ont ecoutee en detail. Je l'ai entendue
brievement avant les prieres de midi. Il
(Ulwan) a dit que c'etait le djihad et que
ces gens n'etaient pas des innocents (les
victimes du World Trade Center et du Pentagone).
Il l'a jure devant Allah. La chose fut rapportee
a Cheik Suleyman Al- (Umar), Allah le benisse.
Ben Laden : Et Cheik Al (Rayan) ?
Cheik : Sincerement, je ne l'ai pas rencontre.
Mes deplacements etaient tres limites.
Ben Laden : Allah te benisse. Bienvenue a
toi.
Cheik (parlant de son periple jusqu'au lieu
de la rencontre) : Ils nous ont fait passer
clandestinement, alors j'ai pense que nous
serions dans differentes cavernes dans les
montagnes, et j'ai ete surpris d'arriver
dans une auberge si propre et si confortable.
Qu'Allah soit remercie, on nous a dit aussi
que l'endroit etait sur, par la grace d'Allah.
Les lieux sont propres et nous y sommes a
notre aise.
Ben Laden : (...inaudible...) quand les gens
voient un cheval fort et un cheval faible,
par nature ils preferent le cheval fort.
Ce n'est qu'un de nos buts ; ceux qui veulent
venerer le seigneur du peuple, sans suivre
cette doctrine, suivront la doctrine de Mohammed,
la paix soit avec lui.
(Ben Laden cite plusieurs hadiths brefs et
incomplets, comme suit) : "J'ai recu
l'ordre de combattre les gens jusqu'a ce
qu'ils disent qu'il n'y a d'autre dieu qu'Allah
et que Mohammed est son prophete."
"Certains peuvent demander : pourquoi
veux-tu nous combattre ?"
"Il y a un lien entre ceux qui disent
: je crois en un seul dieu et Mohammed est
son prophete, et ceux qui ne (...inaudible...)"
"Ceux qui ne suivent pas la vraie foi.
La foi de Mohammed, la vraie foi. Ils croient
les beaux parleurs sur leur mine."
Ben Laden : Ces jeunes qui ont conduit les
operations ne se fiaient pas aux apparences
populaires, ils acceptaient la verite apportee
par le prophete Mohammed. Ces jeunes hommes
(...inaudible...) ont profere, par leurs
actes a New York et Washington, des discours
plus puissants que tous les autres discours
prononces de par le monde. Les discours sont
compris tant par les Arabes que par les non-Arabes
- meme par les Chinois. Ca surpasse ce qu'ont
dit tous les medias. Il parait qu'en Hollande,
dans l'un des centres, les conversions a
l'islam ont ete plus nombreuses pendant les
jours qui ont suivi les operations que pendant
les onze dernieres annees. A la radio islamique,
j'ai entendu un directeur d'ecole en Amerique
dire : "Nous n'arrivons plus a repondre
aux demandes de tous ceux qui veulent des
livres islamiques pour apprendre l'islam."
Cet evenement a fait reflechir les gens (sur
le vrai islam), ce qui est un grand bien
pour l'islam.
Cheik : Des centaines de gens doutaient de
toi, rares etaient ceux qui te suivaient
avant ce prodigieux evenement. Maintenant
ils sont des centaines a te rejoindre. Je
me souviens d'une vision de Cheik Salih Al-(Shuaybi).
Il a dit : "Un grand coup sera frappe
et les gens se rendront par centaines en
Afghanistan." Je lui ai demande : "En
Afghanistan ?" Il a repondu : "Oui."
D'apres lui, les seuls qui resteraient derriere
seraient les attardes mentaux et les menteurs
(hypocrites). Je me rappelle qu'il disait
que des centaines de gens iraient en Afghanistan.
Voila un an qu'il a eu cette vision. Cet
evenement a fait le tri entre les differents
types de partisans.
Ben Laden : (...inaudible...) nous avons
evalue d'avance les pertes de l'ennemi, nous
avons chiffre le nombre de morts en nous
basant sur la position de la tour. Nous avons
calcule que trois ou quatre etages seraient
touches. J'etais le plus optimiste de tous.
(...inaudible...) etant donne mon experience
dans ce domaine, je pensais que l'incendie
provoque par le carburant de l'avion ferait
fondre la structure metallique du batiment,
ce qui entrainerait l'effondrement de la
partie touchee et de tous les etages superieurs.
C'etait tout ce que nous esperions.
Cheik : Loue soit Allah.
Ben Laden :Nous etions a (...inaudible...)
quand ca s'est produit. Nous avions ete informes
le jeudi precedent que ca se passerait ce
jour-la. Nous avions termine notre travail
de la journee et allume la radio. Il etait
17 h 30 pour nous. J'etais assis avec le
Dr Ahmad Abu-al-(Khair). Tout de suite nous
avons entendu la nouvelle : un avion avait
percute le World Trade Center. Nous nous
sommes branches sur les informations de Washington.
Ils ne parlaient pas de l'attaque. C'est
seulement a la fin des informations qu'ils
ont dit qu'un avion venait de percuter le
World Trade Center.
Cheik : Loue soit Allah.
Ben Laden : Au bout d'un moment, ils ont
annonce qu'un autre avion avait percute le
World Trade Center. Les freres qui ont entendu
la nouvelle etaient fous de joie.
Cheik : J'ai ecoute les informations. J'etais
assis. Nous... nous ne pensions a rien et,
tout a coup, par la volonte d'Allah, nous
nous demandions pourquoi nous n'avions rien,
et tout a coup la nouvelle est arrivee et
tout le monde etait fou de joie et tout le
monde, jusqu'au lendemain matin, parlait
de ce qui se passait et nous avons ecoute
les nouvelles jusqu'a 4 heures, et c'etait
chaque fois un peu different, tout le monde
etait enthousiaste et repetait : "Allah
est grand, Allah est grand, nous remercions
Allah, louez Allah !" Et le bonheur
de mes freres faisait ma joie. On nous a
telephone toute la journee pour nous feliciter,
ca n'arretait pas. La mere recevait des appels
continuellement. Merci Allah, Allah est grand,
Allah soit loue. (Citant le verset du Coran
:) "Combats-les, Allah les torturera,
avec tes mains Allah les torturera. Il les
trompera et te donnera la victoire. Allah
pardonnera aux croyants, il sait tout sur
toute chose."
Cheik : Indubitablement, c'est une belle
victoire. Allah nous a exauces... honores...
et nous accordera sa benediction et d'autres
victoires pendant le saint mois de ramadan.
Et c'est ce que tout le monde espere. Grace
a Allah l'Amerique est sortie de ses grottes.
Nous lui avons donne le premier coup, le
prochain lui sera donne par les croyants,
les forts et bons croyants. Par Allah, c'est
une grande ?uvre. Allah nous reserve une
grande recompense pour cette ?uvre. Excuse-moi
de parler tout seul devant toi, ce sont des
pensees qui me viennent... Par Allah, car
il n'est d'autre dieu que lui. Je me souviens
des paroles d'Al-Rabbani, il disait qu'ils
avaient forme une coalition contre nous pendant
l'hiver avec des infideles comme les Turcs
et d'autres, et quelques Arabes. Et qu'ils
nous encerclaient comme au temps... comme
au temps du prophete Mohammed. Exactement
comme ce qui se passe maintenant. Mais il
a reconforte ses partisans en disant : "Ca
se retournera contre eux." Et c'est
une grace pour nous. Et une benediction pour
nous. Et ca fera venir des renforts. Regarde
comme il etait avise. Et Allah lui accordera
sa benediction. Et le jour viendra ou les
symboles de l'islam se dresseront et ce sera
comme aux premiers jours d'Al-Moudjahidin
et d'Al-Ansar (comme les premieres annees
de l'islam). Et victoire aux fideles d'Allah.
Oui, il a dit enfin, si c'est comme aux premiers
jours, comme Abu Bakr et Othman et Ali et
les autres, alors ce sera, en ce temps, de
nos jours, le plus grand djihad de l'histoire
de l'Islam et de la resistance des mechants.
Cheik : Par Allah mon Cheik. Nous te felicitons
par cette grande ?uvre. Merci Allah.
Fin de la bande.
Deuxieme partie de la visite de Ben Laden,
debut de la bande.
Ben Laden : Abdallah Azzam, Allah benisse
son ame, m'a dit de ne rien enregistrer (...inaudible...)
alors j'ai pense que c'etait un bon presage,
et Allah nous benira (...inaudible...). Abu-Al-Hasam
Al- (Masri), qui s'est adresse aux Americains
sur Al-Jazira TV il y a quelques jours en
leur disant : "Si vous etes vraiment
des hommes, venez ici et affrontez-nous de
face." (...inaudible...) Il m'a dit,
il y a un an : "J'ai fait un reve ou
nous jouions au football contre les Americains.
Quand notre equipe est arrivee sur le terrain,
c'etaient tous des pilotes !" Il a dit
: "Je me demandais si c'etait un match
de foot ou un concours de pilotage ! Nos
joueurs etaient des pilotes." Il (Abu-Al-Hasan)
ne savait rien de l'operation avant d'entendre
la nouvelle a la radio. Il a dit que le match
avait eu lieu et que nous avions gagne. C'etait
un bon presage pour nous.
Cheik : Qu'Allah soit beni.
Voix d'homme non identifiee hors champ :
"Abd Al Rahman Al- (Ghamri) a eu une
vision avant l'operation. Il a vu un avion
s'ecraser contre un gratte-ciel. Il n'etait
au courant de rien."
Cheik : Qu'Allah soit beni !
Suleyman (Abu Guaith) : J'etais assis dans
une piece avec le Cheik, puis je suis alle
dans une autre piece ou il y avait un poste
de television. Ils diffusaient le grand evenement.
On voyait une famille egyptienne dans son
salon, ils explosaient de joie. Tu sais,
quand il y a un match de foot et que ton
equipe gagne, eh bien, c'etait la meme manifestation
de joie. Il y avait un sous-titre qui disait
: "Pour venger les enfants d'Al-Aqsa,
Oussama Ben Laden declenche une operation
contre l'Amerique." Alors je suis revenu
voir le Cheik (c'est-a-dire Ben Laden), qui
etait assis dans une piece avec cinquante
ou soixante personnes. J'ai essaye de lui
dire ce que j'avais vu, mais il m'a fait
un signe avec les mains, qui signifiait :
"Je sais, je sais..."
Ben Laden : Il n'etait pas au courant de
l'operation. Tout le monde ne savait pas
(...inaudible...). Mohammed (Atta), de la
famille egyptienne (c'est-a-dire la section
egyptienne d'Al-Qaida), avait la charge du
groupe.
Cheik : Un avion qui s'ecrase contre un gratte-ciel,
personne ne pouvait imaginer ca. C'etait
une grande ?uvre. C'etait l'un des hommes
pieux de l'organisation. C'est devenu un
martyr. Allah benisse son ame.
Cheik (faisant allusion aux reves et aux
visions) : L'avion qu'il a vu s'ecraser contre
un gratte-ciel, plus d'un l'avaient vu avant
lui. Un bon devot qui a tout abandonne pour
venir ici m'a dit : "J'ai eu une vision,
j'etais dans un enorme avion, long et large.
Je le portais sur mes epaules et j'ai fait
un kilometre a pied dans le desert depuis
la route. Je trainais l'avion." Je l'ai
ecoute et j'ai prie Allah pour qu'il lui
vienne en aide. Un autre m'a dit l'an dernier,
mais je n'ai pas compris et je lui ai dit
que je ne comprenais pas, il m'a dit : "J'ai
vu des gens qui partaient pour le djihad...
et ils se sont retrouves a New York... a
Washington et a New York." J'ai dit
: "Comment ca ?" Il m'a dit que
leur avion avait percute un immeuble. C'etait
l'an dernier. Nous n'y avons pas beaucoup
reflechi. Mais, quand l'accident s'est produit,
il est venu me trouver et m'a dit : "Tu
as vu... c'est etrange." Un autre encore...
mon Dieu... a dit et jure devant Allah que
sa femme avait vu l'accident une semaine
plus tot. Elle a vu l'avion s'ecraser dans
l'immeuble... c'etait incroyable, mon Dieu.
Ben Laden : Les freres qui ont conduit l'operation,
tout ce qu'ils savaient, c'est que c'etait
une operation-martyre. Nous leur avons demande
d'aller en Amerique, mais ils ne savaient
rien de l'operation, rien du tout. Mais ils
etaient entraines et nous ne leur avons rien
revele jusqu'a leur depart, juste avant qu'ils
embarquent dans les avions.
Ben Laden : (...inaudible...) puis il a dit
: "Ceux qui ont appris a piloter ne
connaissaient pas les autres. Les groupes
ne se connaissaient pas entre eux."
(...inaudible...)
(Quelqu'un dans l'assistance demande a Ben
Laden de parler au Cheik du reve de (Abu-Da'ud)
Ben Laden : Nous etions dans le camp des
gardes de l'un des freres a Kandahar. Ce
frere appartenait a la majorite du groupe.
Il s'est approche de moi et m'a dit avoir
vu en reve un gratte-ciel d'Amerique et,
dans le meme reve, il avait vu Mukhtar leur
enseigner le karate. A ce moment-la, j'ai
commence a craindre que le secret ne s'evente
si tout le monde se mettait a voir ca dans
ses reves. Alors j'ai clos le sujet. Je lui
ai dit, s'il faisait un autre reve, de n'en
parler a personne, parce qu'il risquait d'intriguer
les gens.
(On entend quelqu'un d'autre raconter qu'il
avait vu en reve deux avions heurter une
grande batisse.)
Ben Laden : Ils etaient fous de joie quand
le premier avion a frappe l'immeuble, alors
je leur ai dit : patience.
Ben Laden : Entre la premiere et la deuxieme
frappe contre les tours, il s'est ecoule
vingt minutes. Entre la premiere frappe et
le crash sur le Pentagone, une heure.
Cheik : Ils (les Americains) etaient terrifies
a l'idee que c'etait un assaut combine.
[Note : Ayman Al-Zawari explique d'abord
qu'il a attire l'attention de Ben Laden sur
ce que disaient les medias. Puis il explique
que c'etait la premiere fois qu'ils (les
Americains) avaient senti venir le danger.]
Ben Laden (recitant un poeme) :
"J'ai vu que devant la lame aceree/Ils
faisaient toujours face aux difficultes et
se tenaient les coudes.../ Quand les tenebres
descendent sur nous et que nous sommes mordus
par une dent aceree, je dis.../"Nos
maisons sont inondees de sang et le tyran
Se promene librement chez nous"... /
Et du champ de bataille ont disparu L'eclat
des epees et les chevaux.../ Et par-dessus
les pleurs a present/Nous entendons des tambours
et des scansions.../ Ils assaillent ses forts/Et
crient : "Nous poursuivrons nos assauts/Jusqu'a
ce que vous liberiez nos terres"...

attentats du 11 septembre qu'il qualifie
de ≪benis≫, il precise qu'ils ont ete commis
par ≪19 etudiants≫ qui se sont entraines
≪au sein meme de l'ennemi≫. ≪Quinze jeunes
sont sortis du pays des deux saintes mosquees
(l'Arabie Saoudite, ndlr). Deux autres [kamikazes]
etaient venus des Emirats [arabes unis],
Mohamed Atta, d'Egypte, et un autre, Ziad
Al-Jarrah, du Levant.≫ Ben Laden indique
que parmi les quinze Saoudiens, trois d'entre

l'atheisme mondial et la tete de l'atheisme,
l'Amerique, et deux mois environ apres la
feroce croisade contre l'islam, nous allons
evoquer la signification de ces evenements
[...] Il est devenu clair que l'Occident
en general et l'Amerique en particulier entretiennent
envers l'islam une haine indicible.
≪Ceux qui ont vecu ces derniers mois sous
les bombardements americains incessants le
realisent. Combien de villages ont ete decimes
et combien de millions de personnes ont ete
dispersees dans ce froid glacial? Ces damnes,
hommes, femmes et enfants, qui vivent aujourd'hui
sous des tentes au Pakistan, n'ont commis
aucun peche. Ils sont innocents. Mais, sur
un simple soupcon, les Etats-Unis ont lance
cette campagne feroce. Nous avons constate
les veritables crimes de ceux qui se disent
humanistes et qui pretendent defendre les
libertes.
≪Quand de jeunes gens, que Dieu les accueille
en martyrs, ont fait sauter a Nairobi [l'ambassade
americaine] avec moins de deux tonnes d'explosifs,
les Etats-Unis ont crie au terrorisme et
a la destruction massive. Les memes Americains
n'ont pas hesite a utiliser deux obus de
sept tonnes, de sept millions de grammes
chacun, sans scrupule.
≪Il y a quelques jours, ils ont bombarde
des positions d'Al-Qaeda a Khost (le 16 novembre
dans l'est de l'Afghanistan, ndlr) [...]
Ils ont alors vise la mosquee, tuant 150
fideles musulmans. C'est la haine des croises.
Le terrorisme contre l'Amerique est louable

Excerpts From bin Laden Videotape
Following are excerpts from the most recent
videotape by Osama bin Laden, as translated
by Agence France-Presse.
"America and Western leaders often say
that Hamas, the Jihad in Palestine and other
militant organizations are terrorist groups.
If self-defense is terrorism, what, then,
is legitimate?
"Our struggle does not differ from that
of our brethren in Palestine, like Hamas.
We struggle for the glory of God and in order
to end the injustice inflicted on the oppressed
in Palestine and elsewhere.
"This is the most dangerous and fiercest
crusade against Islam, (but) God willing,
America's end is near. Its end does not depend
on whether Osama is killed or remains alive,
because this is a time of revival.
"Those young men did something great...
enabling the Muslims to hold their heads
high and teaching America a lesson it will
not forget.
"Fifteen youths came from the land of
the two holy mosques (Saudi Arabia), we pray
God to accept them as martyrs... two from
the (United Arab) Emirates, another -- Ziad
al-Jarrah -- from the Levant, and the other
-- Mohammad Atta -- from Egypt.
"Those who say that martyrdom (suicide)
operations are not permissible are expressing
the wishes of the tyrants, the United States,
and its agents.
"A nation of 1.2 billion Muslims is
slaughtered everyday in Palestine, Iraq,
Somalia, southern Sudan, Kashmir, the Philippines,
Bosnia, Chechnya and Assam, but they say
nothing.
"I stress the importance of carrying
on jihad (holy war) against America militarily
and economically. America is in decline...
the economic drain is continuing but more
strikes are required and the youths must
strike the key sectors of the American economy.
"The round-the-clock strikes against
the Arab mujahedin and the Taliban in Afghanistan
demonstrated the impotence of the US government,
the extent of America's weakness, and the
feebleness of the American soldier.
"Despite a sophisticated military technology,
they could not do anything without the support
of the renegades and hypocrites... We must
seize this opportunity and the youths must
pursue the jihad against the Americans.
"Let me conclude by (reciting a poem
in praise of) those heroes who came from
the land of Hijaz (Saudi Arabia), the land
of faith... from Najd and from... Mecca,
Salem and Nawaf al-Hazmi and Khaled al-Mehdar,
and those who came from Medina, who gave
up this earth for the sake of God."

?Der Westen hasst den Islam"
Osama bin Laden hat sich erneut zu Wort gemeldet.
In seiner jungsten Videobotschaft wirft er
dem Westen vor, einen Kreuzzug gegen den
Islam zu fuhren.

Bin Laden sagt auf dem Band, sein Terrorismus
gegen die USA sei gegen die amerikanische
Unterstutzung fur Israel gerichtet. Die USA
bezeichneten das Band als ?terroristische
Propaganda".
In dem Video sieht Bin Laden mude, aber ruhig
aus. Zu den Anschlagen sagt er: ?Unser Terrorismus
gegen die USA ist lobenswert, um den Unterdrucker
abzuschrecken, damit Amerika seine Unterstutzung
fur Israel beendet, das unsere Kinder totet."
Er warf den USA vor, nur aus Verdachtsmomenten
gegen ihn den Angriff auf Afghanistan begonnen
zu haben. Die Aufnahme zeigt Bin Laden in
einer sauberen, mit Tarnmustern versehenen
Militarjacke. Er sitzt vor einem Stuck Tuch,
neben ihm ist ein Maschinengewehr russischer
Produktion zu sehen.
Es sei eindeutig, dass der Westen, angefuhrt
von den USA, einen Kreuzzug von unbeschreiblichem
Ausmas gegen den Islam fuhre. Der Westen
hasse den Islam. Und diejenigen, die die
seit Monaten andauerenden Bombardements erlebten,
wussten, dass dies wahr sei, sagt Bin Laden
weiter.
Aufnahmeort unbekannt
Hinweise auf den Ort der Aufnahme lieferte
das Band nicht. Al-Dschasira wollte nicht
sagen, woher das Band stammt. Man wolle die
eigenen Quellen nicht Preis geben, sagte
ein Redakteur des Senders in London.
Der TV-Sender kundigte eine 30-minutige Ausstrahlung
des Videobandes fur Donnerstag um 19 Uhr
MEZ an.
In der Aufzeichnung sagt Bin Laden, er spreche
drei Monate nach den Anschlagen in den USA
am 11. September und zwei Monate nach dem
Beginn der US-Luftangriffe auf Afghanistan
am 7. Oktober.
Danach konnte die Aufnahme Anfang oder Mitte
des Monats aufgenommen worden sein, als die
USA mit ihren Angriffen auf die Bergfestung
Tora Bora in Ostafghanistan begannen. Dort
wurde Bin Laden zuletzt vermutet.
Der Sprecher im US-Verteidigungsministerium,
Richard McGraw, sagte zu dem Videoband in
Washington: ?Ich weis nicht, ob es echt ist,
ob es neu ist, ob es alt ist."
Auf die Frage, ob er von der Aufnahme uberrascht
sei, sagte McGraw: ?Nichts, was Osama bin
Laden macht, uberrascht mich."
Der Sprecher des Prasidialamts, Scott McClellan,
sagte: ?Das ist nichts weiter als die gleiche
Art terroristischer Propaganda, die wir zuvor
gehort haben".
Spekulationen uber Tod bin Ladens
Nach dem Fall der Bergfestung Tora Bora Mitte
des Monats in Afghanistan waren Spekulationen
laut geworden, Bin Laden konne bei den US-Bombardements
getotet worden sein. Auch die pakistanische
Zeitung Observer (Islamabad) vom Dienstag
hatte vom Tod bin Ladens berichtet.
Anderen Berichten zufolge soll Bin Laden
ins Ausland gefluchtet sein. Die USA wollen
ihre Suche nach Bin Laden unvermindert fortsetzen
und dabei auch die Tora-Bora-Festung durchkammen.
