Seattle Visit in August 1998

I visited Seattle to meet Don, Hilary, Paquita, Julie, Emily and others!
Yayoi accompanied with me. She is a researcher.
Donald Meyer (Don) is the director of the Sibling Support Project.

Arrived at Seattle / Dinner at Don's house

Our plane which would go to Seattle directly was canceled. So we had to change our schedule. The airline company arranged us for Delta airline to Portland. Anyway I and Yayoi arrived at the airport at 14:20. And my older sister Hiroko arrived at the airport almost at the same time from Texas. Don, Hilary and Don's daugther Angela came to meet us at the airport. Angela gave us this bouquet. We set this in our room during our stay.

Karen's house/Children's hospital/Don's office

In the morning, Don took us - Hiroko, Yayoi and myself - to Karen's house. Karen is a facilitator of a Sibshop.

There is a notice up on the bulletin board in the children's hospital saying that Sibshops are fun !

Pike Place Market / Paquita arrived at Seattle/
Book store and drug store / Dinner at Beppos

Hiroko, Yasuko, Don, Hilary, Paquita

Paquita arrived at Seattle on 7th. We (Don, Hilary, Hiroko, Yayoi and I ) went to meet her at the airport. After that we took lunch near the lake.

And we took a short drive. Don, thank you for your guide! This is a view from Kerry Park Viewpoint. We can see Space Needle.
