Section 1:
This section is an annotated bibliography containing reviews of 446 English-language books concerning the destruction by A-bomb of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. These are classified into five genres and a summary for each book is provided in English and Japanese.

Section 2:
Of 446 English-language books listed in Section 1, 283 English-language books on Hiroshima and Nagasaki are originally written by Japanese authors.  Section 2 attempts to demonstrate the process of Hiroshima and Nagasakifs globalization through the publishing of English-language books on Hiroshima and Nagasakifs experiences.  Publication has been going on even after the 50th anniversary.  The figures confirm that the role of Hiroshima and Nagasaki has not diminished but is as relevant as ever.
