2002年にソウルで行われたパフォーマンスフェスティバルでも使用した天皇の記号を使用。第二次世界大戦が終了し、日本、韓国両政府により戦後補償は終了したとされたものの、個人レベルでの補償は置き去りになったままで、従軍慰安婦問題・広島で被爆した韓国人らの補償問題等、配慮しなければならない問題が残されている。
日本が侵略した側であるという意識は日本人にない場合が見受けられるが、私は韓国で数回、実際に第二次大戦について認識を問われたことがある。

Sea Art Festival is an installation exhibition specializing the marine nature of a thriving port city, Busan, with the power of art. Starting as a cultural event of the 1987 Pre-Olympics, Sea Art Festival has been specializing and developing art in Busan as an unique art form taking advantage of sea which is a gift from the nature and a kind of tourism resource of the city. It has turned out to be a remarkable source fascinating tourists through press marketing and occupied the attention from the world of art because of its peculiar style of environment art.

釜山ビエンナーレには、Contemporary Art Exhibition, Sea Art Festival, Busan Sculpture Project といった3つのセクションがあります。
Sea Art Festivalは、芸術の力をもつ繁栄する港都市 (釜山) の海の性質を特殊化しているインスタレーションとパフォーマンスの祭典です。1987年のプレ・オリンピックの文化的なイベントとして始まり、海芸術祭は、専門としていて、自然からの贈り物である有利さof/seaをしているユニークな芸術形式と都市の一種の観光旅行資源として釜山で技術を開発していました。 環境芸術のその独特なスタイルのため、それは新聞マーケティングを通して観光客を魅了している注目に値する源であることが認知され、芸術の世界から注意を占めました。
今年のSea Art Festival には、33名のアーティストが参加。アーティストの紹介は釜山ビエンナーレweb siteから見ることが出来ます。パフォーマンスは、Sea Art Festivalのオープニング、10月9日,10日に行われます。
