	in JAPANESE 児童福祉施設の子供達、女性移住者達、ストリートチルドレンらとのワークショップを主催。ハバナビエンナーレ、横浜トリエンナーレ出品作家。05年より参加型アートプロジェクト「HOUSE OF COMFORT (安らかな家) 」を継続。

	Alma Quint (b. 1961) is a feminist activist involved in many advocacy works using art as a medium. �Her“Soft Dreams and Bed Stories” project was exhibited at the 8th Havana Bienale in Cuba in 2003 and was later selected for an exhibition at Henie Onstad Kunstsenter in Norway in 2004. She again represented the Philippines in the 2nd Yokohama Triennale in Japan with her“Ayayam”, a project that involves not only women from KASIBULAN�and abused children from the Philippines but Japanese women artists and advocacy workers as well. She served as President of KASIBULAN (Kababaihan sa Sining at Bagong Sibol na Kamalayan or Women in Art and Emerging Consciousness), a collective of women artists active in advocating women’s empowerment through the arts. She headed the Philippine Art Educators Association (PAEA) and has developed modules and conducted numerous art workshops in different schools, museums, alternative spaces and centers for marginalized children. Since 1995, she has been conducting arts for healing workshop for the young female survivors － victims of sexual abuse at CRIBS Philippines. 	House of Comfort is a work-in-progress collaborative art project�that envisions to create a symbolic house of hope�and resilience for its�collaborators, mostly children and women�from marginalized communities all over the Philippines, using�fabric�scraps to visualize their dreams and aspirations.� It started in 2006 and it evolved from my earlier collaborative projects with young female survivors of sexual abuse�at CRIBS Philippines.� Through workshops, including that of Miho Nakanishi which she did in Osaka with two Japanese Filipino children in 2007 and the collaborative works of textile artist Haji Oh and video artist Soni Kum,�it helped the participants articulate their issues and concerns and�create�hope in their difficult situation.
