「程度／区分 vs 反復／生成」
限られたものを分配するために、様々な事柄を何らかの方法で測り、それを一定のルールで区分するという方法論が公正・公平であるとされます。福祉サービスの提供にはこのような方法がよく採用されます。そうすることで人間ひとり一人違うという自明の事に対して判断停止をすることを可能にします。しかし測定不可能な人間の反復した行為はこのような区分が無意味なものだということを示し、人間の存在についての問いを生成しているのではないかと思うのです。わっぱの会を取り巻く日常で生じていることからそんなことを考えてみたいのです。
わっぱの会は1971年に名古屋で活動を始めた集団です。その活動の基本は、障害のある人とそうでない人で共に働く場を創り出す、共に生活する場を創り出す、差別のない社会をめざす、という点にあります。今回の展示はわっぱの会の有志（竹川宏・成田由利・名口昌志・斎藤亮人・本村恵美子・山下夏乃・渡辺智子）と金ちゃんユニットとの協同で行います。

日常的な事柄をモチーフに、恣意的な<表象空間>にて例えば社会的線引き問題を扱う(かのような）パフォーマティブユニット。今回よし子-chan・山崎浩太・白井千晴・小林保夫が参加。小林と白井はost organのメンバー。「金ちゃんユニット」は流動的なメンバーで、名古屋地区を中心に演劇/パフォーマンス活動を行う。主に「オルタナティブ演劇」と称し、敷居の低くアクセス性の高い<パブリック空間> の造形を行う。

“Degree/classification” versus “Repetition/generation”
A methodology, with which various affairs are measured and classified with certain rules in order to divide something limited, is supposed to be fair. Such a methodology is often adopted for providing welfare services so as to make it possible to stop people from recognizing the obvious thing that each of them is different. However, repeated acts of humans, which are unmeasurable, seem to reveal that such a classification is meaningless and to generate questions about the existence of human beings. We would like think about this from what is going on in our everyday life.
We WAPPA TAKE BUND started our activities in Nagoya in 1971. Its principles are to create a space where those physically or mentally impaired and those unimpaired live and work together and to strive to achieve a society without discrimination. This exhibition is held with cooperation between some members of WAPPA TAKE BUND (Takekawa Hiroshi, Narita Yoshitoshi, Naguchi Masashi, Saito Makoto, Motomura Emiko, Yamashita Natsuno and Watabane Tomoko) and the Kin-chan Unit.
