Manuscript Submission

Manuscripts should be submitted electronically in a Microsoft Word document to the editor in chief (EIC-presently Dr. John Laflen, email to Laflen@wctatel.net). It should be clearly stated in the email to which the manuscript is attached the particular publication the corresponding author is requesting. The manuscript must be in English and single spaced. It should contain in this order the following materials

1. Title
2. Abstract
3. Keywords
4. Authors names and affiliations
5. Name and email address of corresponding author (person who will receive information and requests from WASWC about manuscript)
6. Text-clarity and conciseness are important. Tables and figures should be placed near where they first appear in the text.
7. Figures and graphs may be in color. For our ease in editing, we much prefer graphs prepared in Excel and figures prepared using the drawing function in Word.
8. List of references
9. Pictures that may be included that illustrate the work-not necessarily part of the manuscript. If not referred to in the manuscript, they may be used to provide color to the work, making its presentation on the WWW more effective.

Only an original manuscript that is the work of the author(s) will be considered for publication. WASWC will not consider a manuscript that has been published, accepted for publication, or is being considered by another journal. WASWC will consider manuscripts that have been rejected by other journals, if the journal documents related to that recommendation are submitted to WASWC.

Titles should be as brief as possible.

The abstract should be a paragraph that can stand alone that summarizes the study and results. It should be brief. It should be less than 200 words.

There should be no more than 6 Keywords. These will be used to identify WASWC articles of interest to users of WASWC publications.

SI units are the primary system of units. The author may choose to include a second system of units, with the second set of units in parentheses.

Recognizing that for many contributors, English is a 2nd language, the WASWC will perform editorial work on manuscripts to insure good and consistent presentation of the manuscripts in English. We will also publish WASWC titles and abstracts in the native language of the authors when they are furnished by the authors.
