Hello to the friends of World Friendship Center. We are delighted to be here in Hiroshima working with so many gracious and helpful people. Our hope is that our past experience will help us to adjust to this new time in our lives. We are from Ohio in the USA. After our retirement we entered Brethren Volunteer Service and for the past 2 years we have been serving as volunteers in BVS. We hope to apply the skills we have learned through that experience here at the WFC. Thank you to all who have provided the warm welcome to this wonderful city, Hiroshima.

* Bi-lingual Office Staff:
Naomi Kurihara
(since February 2004)

Naomi provides the essential Office Staff functions including accounting, scheduling, and donation collections, reporting and serves as the coordinator for local services, communications and operations. Her many experiences include four years with a Hiroshima based international translation organization as well as U.S based services and English as a second language education (Georgia Tech University, Atlanta) and teaching English.
