LOCATION:
  • Southern Madagascar
  • About 700Km from Antananarivo
ACCESS:
  • About 1.5hrs from Antananarivo to Fort Dauphin (Tolagnaro).
  • About 2hrs drive on a good road from Fort Dauphin.
ACCOMMODATION:
  • There are many good and clean hotels in Fort Dauphin.
  • There are good bungalows in the reserve. If you want to stay in the reserve, it is necessary to stay at Hotel le Dauphin, le Galion and Miramar in Fort Dauphin.

VEGETATION;

  • Dry deciduous thicket and thorn scrub dominated by members of the Didiereaceae and Euphorbiaceae families.
