Usually I go to my pottery teacher's workshop once a month. He has his workshop and lives at the mountainside. At first, my wife began to make potteries once a month with some friends. Then I was asked why not. It was a couple years after we have moved to our new house in the mountainous place from the seaside. I recognized that making potteries is fan. But I thought that making normal potteries is not my way so I decided to make something "unusual" with the shape of any kinds of animals. Maybe they are not potteries, but types of "animal ceramics". So my friends call me "an animal ceramics artist", so do I. It must be a good name for me. I hope you enjoy seeing some of my artifacts. I have already made many, but still making more!

The year 2002, it is the year of "horse". There are 12 animals for each year cyclically. I have made several funny statues of horse to symbolize the year 2002. You may find too fat flying horse (afraid too heavy to fly?), powerful weight lifting horse, Karate horse and others. Hope you enjoy them! Next year? The year of sheep and I will design new ones for your smile!
