Old Wooden Buildings

In more than one thousand and several hundreds years, we built very interesting buildings in Japan. Still we have the oldest wooden buildings named world famous "Horyuji temple" (the story will be shown later). These pictures show some part of their interesting figures. I love the old buildings mainly made with wood. Woods, old or new, are very human and feeling and the texture is lovely. When I travel and find the old ones, I do love to see and take a picture. These pictures were taken in several places like temples, shrines and others. Some of them are the gate, the main building and the tower, very interesting.
