Cell Parameters Calculation Program

CellCalc

'CellCalc' is a Windows program to calculate unit cell parameters and their standard deviations from observed d-value and hkl data. This program runs on Windows98/NT/2000/XP.

You can get CELL151.exe(327kB) from here.

[2] Installation
CELL151.exe is a self-expanding file.
Run CELL151.exe at any directory. Following files will be extracted.
Copy all files to an arbitrary directory.

• cellcalc.exe.......calculation program
  
• cellcalc.rtf.......basics of calculation(in Japanese)
  
• cufes2.lat.........sample data file
  
• anorthite.lat .....sample data file
  
• cellcalc_j.txt.....manual in Japanese
  
• cellcalc_e.txt.....manual in English
  

[3] How to use CellCalc
Run 'cellcalc.exe'.

(1)Data Input

• [Data Input]:Input data to the table on the screen.
  Hit [Enter] key for the next column.
  
  
• [Edit Data]:Select the column by mouse, then edit the data.
  
  
• [Delete one data]:Set d-value to 0(zero) then select [ Data ] -- [ Delete One Data ] .
  
  
• [Add Data]:Add data to the last row, then select [ Data ] -- [ Sort ] .
  
  
• [Read from File]:Select [File] -- [Read from File] and choose one file.
  The observed data will be stored in memory.
  

(2)Select Crystal System

Select Crystal system from [ Crystal System ] .

(3)Set Sample name

Click the sample column by mouse, then input sample name.

(4)Calculation

Select [ Calculation ] -- [ Execution ] .

Results will be displayed on the screen.

(5)Print

Select [ File ] -- [ Print ] .

(6)Save observed data

Select [ File ] -- [ Write to File ] .
